SOFTEN YOUR EYES FOR EDGES Snoqualmie River Fall Colors plein air oil painting with Jon Bradham

In this video, I hike around the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River. I find a pretty place on the river bank to paint the fall color trees and boulders in the river.o paint. The light has an interesting red caste due to the high altitude smoke from wildfires in the Pacific Northwest. I experiment with softening my eyes, relaxing focus a little, to soften the edges in the oil painting. This is something I heard from Eric Rhoads Plein Air Podcast guest. I show how I select a composition and create a plein air study in oil paint based on the scene. I hope you enjoy!
