The narrator got the Mustang a bit wrong. To hit 60 mph in 5.2 seconds the 289-cube V8 made at least 306 bhp, the same as in the Ford GT40. And the Mustang to consider is the Shelby GT350, also introduced in 1965. Furthermore, we read "mph" but we say "miles per hour.". We read "cu. in." but we say "cubic inch.". Too much AI and not enough human flesh!

Ah, I think the GT40 that raced and won at Le Mans was a 7.4 litre engine, not a 289.

Why don’t we test them with the same driver in all of the cars there are some drivers that just don’t have a good ability to make fast cars haul ass

The 1965 Mustang was the first of the "Pony Cars"; not a "Muscle Car". Moreover, *the* engine was the 271-Horsepower 289 High Performance ... not the lower 225-horsepower 4V.

You apparently dont know about the 65 Shelby Mustang Gt350 306hp 289.

The 65 Shelby Mustang is perhaps the best street muscle car ever made.

the chalenger and charger are two great dodge cars from the first half of the 70´s, and yes three dukes of hazzard , i also heard that lot´s of charger´s were destroyd during the filming of the TV series .My nikname ,three dukes , when i took flight with a peugeot 505 van 2.0L engine gasoline as i only had driven this cars with diesel engine and a turn filled with gravel made it possible but the only damage was in the front right wheel the tire was bellow the car still atatched as all parts were out of shape, the friend who was next to me ,no safety belts at the time, allthough they were there no law said you had to used them, i stayed perfectelly seated in the driving position and after i even started the car and in reverse tried to take it but the steering wheel was fixed in that position that´s when i came out and my friend was upside down in the back door of the van saying "Ai, Ai" and it´s a long van, this after driving my just bought 2 seats Mazda RX-7 (87)wankel engine and works perfect today, i drove for two weeks a chalenger(like in the movie Kowalsky) but was to sale or i wouldn´t had profit if i kept all american cars i liked, those big boats from the 70´s i didn´t mind having one of each as the Charger from 76/78

not the in-line engine but the GT350 Shelby, herzt(doesn´t it) rent-a-car or the 289 were already muscle cars, the pony was called to the mustang with in-line engine, the fastback 65 model either than the coupé, main diference a litle back window or none with a litle bit longer trunk
