    Aloha everybody,
There is one word that every tennis player needs to know & that word is "etiquette." There is a certain way to conduct one's self when on a tennis court as well as when around other tennis players playing nearby. Tennis etiquette also helps non-tennis players understand the culture of the sport.
Check out my 10 Tennis Etiquette Mistakes I commonly see people make!

FYI, this is just my personal opinion based on my previous years of coaching tennis as a USPTA certified teaching pro as well as an avid recreational player.

Haha no problem Rich! I got asked to add that into my list a couple weeks ago. Good tip for any facility that has clay.

#11. Keep dogs off courts. Ive seen poop on courts and unless its dry, it is hard to remove completely.
You should do a video on players playing etiquette or rules clarification.
#1. The RECEIVER calls serves out--NOT THE SERVER. I cannot tell you how many times this one player calls his own serves out especially when I or my partner in doubles hits a winning return.
#2. Calling "LET" is the active players perogative-- NOT THE ONES WHO HIT A BALL ONTO THE COURT.
#3. Take turns bringing or offer to open a new can of good balls like Wilson ATP, ProPenns,or Dunlop Tournament. Theres always the one guy who uses the same excuse, "I only have regular duty Penns with the red lid."
#4. No unnecessary talking/ remarks during active play unless it is a short "yours/mine", "short!", "switch!", etc. I played with a guy who would say out loud "Oh no!" or "Thats going long!" before the ball bounces on my side.
#5. All playing balls should be on server's side. I played with a guy who out of habit would always keep one ball in his pocket even when he or his partner were not serving.

Good suggestions! I agree with all of the above. Will definitely add these in a future video.
