Quicksilver is another name for mercury, a very heavy metal that used to be used in thermometers.

I do my best to get through all the stories but sometimes they get skipped because they're too long or are too similar to a story we've just shared. Sometimes great things get lost in the stacks, just due to lack of time. We often get stories that fall outside of our criteria, meaning an experience that needs to be seen or heard, not sensed. In short, there are lots of reasons that stories don't get used but I hope to sort through all of them in our time off. In the meantime, feel free to send the story again to hauntedafpodcast@gmail.com, in cause it just got lost. - Julie

As far as our brains are concerned, we fly everywhere most of the time. This is because it's our spinal columns, not our brains, that control walking. As such, flying dreams aren't that weird.
On top of that, young children can't fully differentiate between dreams and reality; that takes a reasonable amount of development.
