Harriet is amazing. She knows that E17 bonks E18, and E18 needs food. E17 must have already eaten because only interested in bonking! But then later gets some too! Love this family!
I can't help but think of twins Peace and Hope when I see these new twins. Hopeful for a better outcome here and no rodents on the menu... they are so precious. Both sets of chicks have wonderful parents
Truly a wonder to see, how Harriet gently schools two head butting and beaking hatchlings in how to feed. She is so attuned to subtle nuances, when to reinforce and when to reinforce the other, all with such gentleness. What starts out as competition quickly becomes focus on mama and effective feeding. And how strong the babies get in less than a day. This is the best cure for post holiday winter slump there is. ❤️
Seen this live E17 is something else 17 will not leave 18 alone. I was so scared that 17 would make 18 bleed. Thats a rough lil bobblehead. Makes me wonder already if 17 isn't a female. Thank you Lady Hawk these to are just so very cute. You have to love them already. Look at those lil faces ❤❤❤❤❤
It's the other way around E-18 picks on E 17 I don't know why it does look cruel but if you watch the whole season M15 does put his foot down and they grow so wonderful E18 is always going to be the boss and a real brat never seen this before but it turns out cute!!!
Omg, 17 is a holy terror already! I honestly can’t tell them apart except for behavior but with so little time between hatches, could that just be pure survival instincts kicking in? How does 18 actually “know” he/she is older? Lol, so many things to ponder.
Ooh! Poor E18 is being attacked , Mum can't feed him.❤ They are so cute , but seems so harsh what they do to eachother! He needs to put up a wing to distract E17 ! Relentless head bonks. Bonking in UK means something else, lol. Hopefully they will learn to get along together , thanks for your updates ❤🐱♏🏴🦅
Lol. Bit hit and miss in the beginning but Harriet is so gentle and has the patience of a saint. Some for you and then some for you. Very even, let’s hope it stays that way ❤️🦅🦅🐣🐣🇦🇺
Oh my goodness! This was quick or did I miss a video. Oh this parental unit is, I absolutely love when they talk to each other so soft.. this is what I think they said, Harriet- I'm back, little beak, okay get off my babies I can hear them... More force her if my babies. M- okay. Then off to be stowick and proud. Hi everybody, so good to see this family. Thanks LH & everyone. ❤️🇺🇸❤️
So much for hatching close together meaning less bonking, E17 & E18 were just 2 hours apart and on their first full day in the world they had an epic, but adorable, bonkfest - it's just the survival instinct of a baby bird kicking in - each saying Feed Me First! - usually they grab the wing or the back of the head but E18 was on its back and E17 was going right for E18's throat which had me a little worried, but E18 got in some good bonks too before they both got fed and then collapsed into a cuddle puddle for nap time - being born so close together might actually make the bonking worse initially until they sort out which of them is the more dominant and they realize there is plenty of food to go around - M & H are fabulous parents and will make sure both get fed.
From what i understand, it won't make the bonking any different. instead, it reduces the difference in strength between the eldest and the youngest, which reduces the chances of bonking becoming more deadly.
It seems every nest I watch the Young ones are fighting for a few days then things seem to smooth out!11 No Idea why but I have not really seen it continue when they get a bit older.
A couple years ago I seen this same thing with the Dale Hallow Eagles in Tennessee and and didn't end well one of the Eaglets bonked and killed the other but the one that died was very week anyway, Survival of the fittest they say its sad but its nature
These guys just seem more protected than the other eagles. Besides the owls, but they are only out at night. They do have a fresh pond and no killer crows so that helps!!
Parent is doing a good job hitting little mouths that are moving targets! Good thing they are experienced parents! Yes, one seem quite the bully, a little worrisome
@@meaneymouse1371 Yah but at 2-3 days old? I can't help but think that some of it is accident. Chick facing wrong way so not getting fed and ripe for pounding.
@@leannrippy8607 today made u for it though lol. After their daily "bonking", the aggressive 1 was soooo tired he fell 💤. The Dad fed the little one & the "Bonker" lol just 💤 so the "Bonkee" got all the food! (Yes I need to learn their names lol)💞✌
Hahaha the right baby is aggressive and always tries to bite the left baby and the poor baby almost loses some white feathers...are they really only one day old???
Wow that one is going to be a handful.
Can't help but giggle. They are so cute.
Love the bonking and the biting and Harriet’s patience !! And what a handsome M15 !! Thanks Lady Hawk 😊
She’s it’s the best mom 🙏🙏🦅🦅❣️❣️❣️
Wow- they keep Bonking at each other- heavens- take a brokevand eat😂🥰
Feisty E17!! Wow!! Somebody needs a time out!!
Two lovely babies. They are strong and healthy, trying to bite each other and attracting parents’ attention ❤️
Omg so precious I love to watch them get fed wrestling siblings and very proud parents sending prayers for them all to be safe 🙏 🦅🦅🦅🦅 💕
Well they finally stop and are eating! little tiny meals but their mother is so good with hungry babies

Mom is really good at feeding a moving target !
Harriet has her work cut out for her! Feeding these two is a job in itself!!! Lol
It rained here today 1/27 so maybe they got a bath 🤣🤣🤣 🦅♥️🦅
ربنا يبارك فيهم يحفظهم 🙏🐥🐥🦅
He said that was my bite❤💓
Gorgeous little babies 🥰🥰🥰🥰
She’s so patient with her babies
Hilarious 😂 and heartwarming. Healthy little baby eagles and great parents.

Same here. Hopefully these two will be healthy and safe.
Just adorable!
Harriet's heart is being a good mommy.. Harriet tenderly trying to feed them as the bonk away.

These two are like the former eaglets here..one was dominant and bonking till it fledged..hope that doesn’t happen but hey..aren’t they too cute.
They remind me of my two sons when they were that age! Total monsters LOL😂😂🤣🤣😅😅🥰🥰😍😍
Who’s a stinker? E17! ♥️

Reminds me of those Rockem Sockem robots
So cute
Awwww haha I just love this!!!! 😍🥰😍 thank you Lady Hawk!
Just makes me so happy to watch this family. Thank you Lady Hawk 🙏🏻
Just awesome video. Thank you so much.
We need more of this to help process the sorrow we all feel right now.
2 small doses of anti depressant.
looks like the one getting attacked had its eye poked out :(

Beautiful fuzzy, soft looking babies❤❤
E17 is full on Sassyyy! 😂
Love the pics at the end also of Harriet I believe? Such a beautiful family ❣️ She shows such gentleness & love it's so beautiful to watch! Thank you!
What a good mom Harriet is! She cleaned off one of the Es eyes!
'hi, we aren't eating now, we will fight now !'
These two are wild already, ha! TY LH :-) -Hugs

Well, yes, same here in US.
@@sallyshipwreck4315 Right lol! Shame on us! Now I get it! Head bonks!
Harriet is so patient. She is such an experienced Mum.
They both need a little bath now , but I don't want it to rain on them.🙂

Hi everybody, so good to see this family. Thanks LH & everyone. ❤️🇺🇸❤️
Awesome new babies to watch as they grow. I really look forward to this time.
Soooooo cute
She's such a good mother.
These 2 seem like more of an even match. Interesting to see how it goes with them.
I must admit, I don't like to see the fighting. Especially between the babies.

Bonking right from the beginning! I just may NOT be able to watch these two this season!
How much can they see at this age. It looked like one of them was looking straight up.
Oh please be kind little one! I'm so afraid he is doing to hurt his mate
Six of one and half a dozen of the other.
Is that white strip on the beak the egg tooth? And thank goodness she got that blob of meat off that kid's eyeball!
Yes, I believe it is the egg tooth.
It seems every nest I watch the Young ones are fighting for a few days then things seem to smooth out!11 No Idea why but I have not really seen it continue when they get a bit older.
Why do they have to bonk each other !? 😂😂

Captiva just lost both of their babies! We don’t need any more?
What are you trying to feed me no i dont want it wait yes i do..too cute
It's so amazing to see! Harriet is huge compared to the Es and so gentle. Incredible. Thank you, Lady Hawk!
So true and so adorable isn’t it!
Trying to find distinguishing marks to tell these 2 Es apart? 🙂🏴🦅
Well the on on its back is gonna have a big bruise where the other keeps pecking him on the chest, little stinker already😉
@@jeepgirl1224 Aw, I hope not.🙂

Boy that one is reallly pinching the other
The one to the left appears to have an injury near its right eye! It seems to be the submissive one...
O my God , he/she doesn't stop ...
He is not food little one , stop biting ... 🐣🐣
I hate those chicks, so cruel even very small.
Parent is doing a good job hitting little mouths that are moving targets! Good thing they are experienced parents! Yes, one seem quite the bully, a little worrisome
Just hungry.
The one on it's back has to be a boy, its just eating and taking it from its sibling, not retaliating.
I was wondering if there were any sex differences involved at this point so early in the game.
Yeah, I don’t like it a bit. Hope he survives!
The females are more aggressive, more dominant and always larger.
@@meaneymouse1371 Yah but at 2-3 days old? I can't help but think that some of it is accident. Chick facing wrong way so not getting fed and ripe for pounding.
Didn't really like the fact that the dominant baby was going at the submissive one's throat like that .
@Winter me either! But Mom fed him the most which will help him get stronger!! 🤞
I was thinking the same thing.... he was being a big bully and after a while, that’s gotta hurt... 😯🦅
Crap, Harriet, your kid needs a time out!
I hope we don't see "Cain & Able" Syndrome with the young eaglets. The first hatch is always the bully.
Yeah, I was getting concerned, kinda bossy. Lol
The reason the first one is a bully, is because it is bigger and stronger, and that’s the way nature works. Survival of the fittest...
Kids hahaha
M15 and Harriet are gentel with E17&18 .
So playfull
Oops... Did I get the parents mixed up? Sorry
Hahaha the right baby is aggressive and always tries to bite the left baby and the poor baby almost loses some white feathers...are they really only one day old???
Harriet偉大な母ですね。以前から疑問だったのは、鷲は子供を諭すことはしないのかなあ?
Thanks LH! That looks like bleeding lower eye on E18?
I don't like the bonking. Not cute at all. I know it's natural, but it seems a little too vicious.
Aguilas bebes.no.caen tan bien..exigentes , de comida berrichudas,y matan a sus hnos.
Looks like one has already lost an eye. probably not going to make it.
The eyes look completely normal for this stage. 🐣 They don't see well for about the first 2 weeks after hatch.
Such a harsh comment, a little positivity please.
Does look like something not right with E18’s right eye. 😢
Never mind. Looks like a chunk of meat mom removed at the end!
