I am someone who has veneers and yes they have to shave your natural teeth so far down that you will ALWAYS need veneers there. Veneers aren’t cheap btw lol they last 10 years if you’re lucky and you can’t bite into anything hard like apples etc. or they can chip or break. This is why most of the people with veneers are celebrities or people with money because their upkeep is expensive

Your teeth were so straight and I didnt see any gap. All you needed to do is whiten them. Your veneers look great as well but I don't think you needed them. If you like them more and it boosted your confidence then it's fine.
I agree iv got a destroyed mouth from an accident. It breaks my heart when people ruin perfectly good teeth when some of us are in desperate need of this kind of work but are denied help because we’re not big RUclips stars! Damaged perfectly healthy teeth. The enamel is just gone! There are new, better, non-invasive options like cosmetic bonding for gaps and internal whitening for yellow teeth. Would easily give you a veneer look for less money, without the harsh procedure of cutting your teeth and gums. Some people choose veneers because they see celebs do it and don’t realise there are other options, but I highly recommend anyone considering this to find alternatives because although it is done by a qualified cosmetic dentist and it is ‘safe’ and controlled, it doesn’t mean its the best option.

I’m a 22F and have always wanted braces more than ANYTHING! I wasn’t able to get them as a kid because they run $6,000+ and my parents couldn’t afford them. I finally got them myself at 18, had them for 4 years, and just got them off 2 months ago at 22 years old. They costed $6,500. I’m SOOOOO proud of my teeth! My hair and my teeth are the only things I like about myself. I just got my retainers (both removable trays and glued in top and bottom ones) and am in the process of whitening them with the stuff my orthodontist gave me. It’s call polanight. I also have to get my wisdom teeth out soon! Man, dental work is so expensive!!! Mainly just to feel good about yourself!

I feel the same way as well after putting so much money into my teeth.. braces alone were like 7000$ and a 7 year’s minimum of wearing them! Now I have em professionally whitened… they look amazing n brought up confidence to next level lots of compliments given to me! TheGhettoSnobSeries You obviously skipped over the part where he said his enamel was worn due to him bleaching his teeth frequently before. When your ENAMEL is worn your teeth become more yellow and you can no longer whiten them anymore.
I was the same, I hated my teeth because I had small gaps in the front and more rounder teeth. I called them cartoon teeth. But when I asked my dentist if I could get braces, they said no because my teeth were already perfectly straight and all it would do is form gaps in the back of my mouth. So they recommended bonding, which is what I got done. They just add over the teeth, shape, and polish. I also got the second shade because the white looked ridiculous and unnatural. I’m supposed to get them touched up every 7-12 years.
You don't have to change it out every 10 years, I know someone who has a set of crown that lasted for 20 years +, they are a bit discolored but they work fine. I think it's really depends on how well you take care of them.
Veneers are fucking amazing. The confidence it brought me is indescribable. A great smile is worth a million bucks-but it only cost a thousand or two. Worth it.

My father is a dentist and he has done many cases for celebs who come to NYC. They all demand the most fake white shade but he always refuses to let him dictate the shade color. Your teeth were done right in terms of shaping but your dentist should get a C for allowing you to pick such a faux color shade. You know how old people wear dentures with fake white shades that's a giveaway, that's how your teeth look. You should never go lighter than your eyeball color or you end up looking like a plastic doll.

I had 2 frontooth chiped and replaced them with crowns, at the same clinic. To match my other teeth they had to make them in a hollywood white shade B2. I have to say i don‘t smoke and never drink wine or a lot of coffee. So just saying some people have naturally white teeth and im 42 y old. My eyeballs on the other hand are not extremely white.

But yet again, veneers always look whiter on camera than in real life, so maybe his shade is a bit less "fake" looking in person? idk but I noticed the same thing as you.

OMG, what have you done!?! What were you thinking?! I'm a dental assistant, and I come from a dental family. My parents are dental technicians (they fabricate crowns, bridges, veneers, etc), and my brother is a periodontist. You had perfectly healthy, nicely aligned teeth. That tiny gap between your right, central incisor and lateral could have easily been fixed with filling material instead of removing so much of your natural enamel from perfectly healthy teeth to do those veneers. Those veneers, btw, look terrible and unnaturally white. You could have just continued whitening your teeth. Bleaching your teeth does NOT erode or damage your enamel. If I were a dentist or dental technician, I wouldn't want any credit for this workmanship.
You have no clue what you’re talking about. I had a teeth bleaching session ONCE, I only did a quarter of the session because I started getting extreme shots of pain called zingers. The WORST pain I’ve felt in my life which also came in waves following the procedure for about 24 hours, then a few times a month for the year. My teeth are now hypersensitive, even to regular tooth paste. My teeth have never been the same since that short 25 Min zoom whitening session.

Dental student here: the integrity of your teeth is not just ‘marginally compromised’. It’s gone well and beyond that by getting this veneer. You could have simply just bleached your teeth for a much cheaper price while preserving the structural integrity of your teeth.
@@rayang9929 Firstly he didn't get veneers, he got crowns. Much more tooth substance is drilled away when you get crowns. It's very dumb to choose crowns over veneers when doing treatment for esthetics. But people are dumb. Secondly, these crowns will hold only 10-15 years. After that you must redo them. Very costly and time-consuming task. And they will last 10-15 years if you're lucky and don't get caries under the crown or the crown doesn't fracture/get loose. Thirdly the risk for caries and tooth sensitivity and apical periodontitis (basically death of a tooth) is greater when getting crown. Choose veneer instead. Bcz of these crowns this guy may need root filling or extraction on several teeth.
This is amazing! Super affordable as well! Here in the U.S vaneers can cost up to $20,000 ( 20 thousand dollars!) I am definitely looking into the dental center turkey and planning my visit for my vaneers!

They're symmetrical but I have a big gap in the middle and I've always hated it, but my mum was always against me getting braces and still is despite the fact that I've told her many times how much it affected me. aren’t you an adult? and you always have to have at least $3000 put aside for dental. You can literally never be broke once you get veneers. If you have medical bills or kids in the future you still have to pay for the veneers and any complications that comes with it
I hear you. I have not a tooth in my head now but i had an ugly gap like Madonna as a kid, it was horrible! I could stick a penny in it. My mother saying it was fine and the dentist. Hated it, ended up pulling my front tooth out myself just so they would fix the gap.
You need to find inner love. You were beautiful before (still are), but no matter what you get done, you'll never be happy based on material/aesthetic things. It'll boost you temporarily, but you'll still have unresolved issues you are trying to "fix" with enhancements. All the best habibi.
Amar Phoenix I disagree getting cosmetic dentistry can really improve self esteem. To be good enough for other people you have to look good especially for women.I hate the way I look women don't want me because I don't look good enough cosmetic dentistry is something I'd consider.
In my opinion as a dentist you have a beautiful smile, I think that maybe the best treatment for this case should be a good hygiene, then belching and finally a little bit of composite for that little gap (really small gap). Always is better to maintain the natural structure, by the way the natural color is not white, is more yellow than white.
I think your new teeth look beautiful! Really fabulous! Your original teeth were great if you ask me. You could have had that gap closed, but you're entitled to what you want, and you got good results. I don't know how long they last so ask them, and keep a budget for re-doing in case 10-30 yrs down the road. Very nice!
I definitely want to get this in the future. It's crazy how much cheaper it is in Turkey. The same thing would cost 5 times as much at $1800 per tooth.
End of the day people its not what you can see or anybody else can see that matters, it is what the person can see and how they feel about things. I know people who in my opinion and pretty much everybody elses opinions too have nothing wrong with their looks, their teeth or any of what they say is "wrong" with them and it literally rules and in some cases ruins their daily life or what it should be for them. Sometimes no amount of people telling them there is no problem, there is nothing wrong, what are they thinking and why etc, helps at all. If a person can find their own answer and source and change something that makes that sad side of their life go away then to me, its fantastic.

I have veneers. Not because I wanted them (long story). I would never recommend them to anyone. They’re a nightmare, and all I wish for is to have my normal teeth back. They shave down so much, and its life-long maintenance now. I have so much paranoia around eating, the thought of losing a veneer, ect. I totally agree with you. Teeth are ruined forever.

With dental braces you don't have to damage your teeth. I'm for long term results, so I have dental braces, in white, and all though the procces is not finished yet, I'm all ready happy with the results. That looks like a looottttt of tooth preparation/filing for veneers... they look like crowns.. and crowns need to eventually be redone so not usually recommended for younger people for pure cosmetic reasons because of the level of tooth prep

Ummm... these things are supposed to be changed out every 10 years. Sounds like a pretty horrible commitment to me...
It depends how u look out of them. U don't get them replaced unless they fall off or break. They can last up to 20 years if you look after them.

All your trying to do is to boost your confidence and getting ur teeth done isn't anything major compared to getting rhinoplasty or injections etc.
OMG, what have you done!?! What were you thinking?! I'm a dental assistant, and I come from a dental family. My parents are dental technicians (they fabricate crowns, bridges, veneers, etc), and my brother is a periodontist. You had perfectly healthy, nicely aligned teeth. That tiny gap between your right, central incisor and lateral could have easily been fixed with filling material instead of removing so much of your natural enamel from perfectly healthy teeth to do those veneers. Those veneers, btw, look terrible and unnaturally white. You could have just continued whitening your teeth. Bleaching your teeth does NOT erode or damage your enamel. If I were a dentist or dental technician, I wouldn't want any credit for this workmanship.

You have no clue what you’re talking about. I had a teeth bleaching session ONCE, I only did a quarter of the session because I started getting extreme shots of pain called zingers. The WORST pain I’ve felt in my life which also came in waves following the procedure for about 24 hours, then a few times a month for the year. My teeth are now hypersensitive, even to regular tooth paste. My teeth have never been the same since that short 25 Min zoom whitening session.

Dental student here: the integrity of your teeth is not just ‘marginally compromised’. It’s gone well and beyond that by getting this veneer. You could have simply just bleached your teeth for a much cheaper price while preserving the structural integrity of your teeth.

@@rayang9929 Firstly he didn't get veneers, he got crowns. Much more tooth substance is drilled away when you get crowns. It's very dumb to choose crowns over veneers when doing treatment for esthetics. But people are dumb.
Secondly, these crowns will hold only 10-15 years. After that you must redo them. Very costly and time-consuming task. And they will last 10-15 years if you're lucky and don't get caries under the crown or the crown doesn't fracture/get loose.
Thirdly the risk for caries and tooth sensitivity and apical periodontitis (basically death of a tooth) is greater when getting crown. Choose veneer instead. Bcz of these crowns this guy may need root filling or extraction on several teeth.

This is amazing! Super affordable as well! Here in the U.S vaneers can cost up to $20,000 ( 20 thousand dollars!) I am definitely looking into the dental center turkey and planning my visit for my vaneers!

I can really relate to you! I've always wanted to change my teeth. They're symmetrical but I have a big gap in the middle and I've always hated it, but my mum was always against me getting braces and still is despite the fact that I've told her many times how much it affected me. aren’t you an adult? and you always have to have at least $3000 put aside for dental. You can literally never be broke once you get veneers. If you have medical bills or kids in the future you still have to pay for the veneers and any complications that comes with it
I hear you. I have not a tooth in my head now but i had an ugly gap like Madonna as a kid, it was horrible! I could stick a penny in it. My mother saying it was fine and the dentist. Hated it, ended up pulling my front tooth out myself just so they would fix the gap.
PS in Bulgaria its costing €7425 for full top and bottom implants, in. Temps, perms, meds, scans etc. why would impay usa or uk prices.

Amar Phoenix I disagree getting cosmetic dentistry can really improve self esteem. To be good enough for other people you have to look good especially for women.I hate the way I look women don't want me because I don't look good enough cosmetic dentistry is something I'd consider.
In my opinion as a dentist you have a beautiful smile, I think that maybe the best treatment for this case should be a good hygiene, then belching and finally a little bit of composite for that little gap (really small gap). Always is better to maintain the natural structure, by the way the natural color is not white, is more yellow than white.

I think your new teeth look beautiful! Really fabulous! Your original teeth were great if you ask me. You could have had that gap closed, but you're entitled to what you want, and you got good results. I don't know how long they last so ask them, and keep a budget for re-doing in case 10-30 yrs down the road. Very nice!

End of the day people its not what you can see or anybody else can see that matters, it is what the person can see and how they feel about things. I know people who in my opinion and pretty much everybody elses opinions too have nothing wrong with their looks, their teeth or any of what they say is "wrong" with them and it literally rules and in some cases ruins their daily life or what it should be for them. Sometimes no amount of people telling them there is no problem, there is nothing wrong, what are they thinking and why etc, helps at all.
If a person can find their own answer and source and change something that makes that sad side of their life go away then to me, its fantastic.
I know that was you wanted, but I think the people that took care of you where very unprofessional. They should've counseled you for a less intrusive treatment. I honestly feel bad, because you lost your REAL TEETH FOREVER.

I have veneers. Not because I wanted them (long story). I would never recommend them to anyone. They’re a nightmare, and all I wish for is to have my normal teeth back. They shave down so much, and its life-long maintenance now. I have so much paranoia around eating, the thought of losing a veneer, ect. I totally agree with you. Teeth are ruined forever.

With dental braces you don't have to damage your teeth. I'm for long term results, so I have dental braces, in white, and all though the procces is not finished yet, I'm all ready happy with the results. It scares me to damage my teeth when they are healthy, but obviously you didn't have those thoughts 😊

That looks like a looottttt of tooth preparation/filing for veneers... they look like crowns.. and crowns need to eventually be redone so not usually recommended for younger people for pure cosmetic reasons because of the level of tooth prep

Are these crowns or veneers? Thought veneers were kind of placed over the teeth, maybe shaved a little while crowns are shaved way down.
