This is a blatant copy of Prime Turning... Im cool with that, but is it compatible with prime holders or did you make it just different enough to not work?
We think most people try various methods to improve the efficiency of external rough machining and achieve minimal waste. Still, I think this is the perfect tool for those who want to improve efficiency and increase productivity. Although it is still rough machining, the faster you can cut the lever, the better.
I think that it is quite difficult to improve the efficiency of outer diameter processing, so please try it at this opportunity! Economical with 6 corners, Depending on the application, if you can use back turning and front turning, the efficiency will surely increase!

on a cnc you should ALLWAYS have your chuck setup properly. You dont want to shoot your part out of the machine at 3000rpm+ either... And imho insert tooling like this is not worth it on a manual machine. Normal insert tooling is fine, but the special inserts wich tend to be more expensive are just not worth it. I mean what are you going to do on a manual lathe with this?
