I used an iron since 2015. I just bought an easy press a month ago but its very doable with an iron, I have made so many projects with that and even sold onesies and t-shirts that I have made using an iron and no complaints.

nice tutorial..can I use cotton shirts instead or only polyester ones?
yes, if using cotton its better to have an easy press or an actual heat press, regular iron won't have the color show so good on cotton

Does the infusible ink come with that plastic backing because I have it but was scared to use it!
yes infusible ink has a plastic backing, so you can weed out the stuff around your images. you still have to place a parchment paper, or teflon sheet over it. but the cricut infusible ink come with these white see through sheets that you can use as well.
Don't forget to mirror

I got he iron at bed bath and beyond. its shark brand, I remember it was like $100 they have better ones out now for maybe a little more budget friendly. That mat is just a regular cutting mat, I shouldn't be using it to iron, but oh well lol

its one of the symbols on keyboard. or open your Font Book app and choose couture font and scroll down, you can copy/paste it

I don't have that issue, but you can place teflon sheet in between the two layers.
Leaving the Iron on a Cricut Infusible Ink T-Shirt for 2 minutes burned a hole straight through the shirt! 🤦♂️
I watched another video where they said 40 seconds only, and it came out great.
it worked out for me, you can also lift it every 30 seconds (not glide over it) I think it depends on the iron, its good to test yours out. Also I did use 100% cotton ones, when using polyester fabric or poly blend fabric - it won't waistband the highest cotton setting on the iron.

Where’s the infusible ink
A cricut is sooo expensive though
it is! I don't disagree lol I recommend getting a cricut explore around thanksgiving time. (its cheaper than cricut maker) thats when I got mine, and than 4 years later I got my cricut maker. honestly cricut maker was so hyped up thats why I got it after selling my cricut explore... but the stuff that cricut maker makes that explore doesn't.... I will never do those projects cause the blades are EXPENSIVE and those projects NO JOKE will take 5-24 hours.
they also have a cricut joy out, its $150 I believe and its just a mini version of a cricut, I dont have a videos on it, but RUclips them, maybe its something you would like instead (: and its a descent price

Asanele Dlamini if you ever want to try out a cricut, i would recommend calling up some public libraries around you. a bunch of them have a cricut available for free use! ♡
@@asaneledlamini669 If you can order through Ebay that is a great place to get deal on one. That is where i purchased my new cricut explore air from plus got it in a bundle.
