I was in Blackpool with my kids for the day and had to drop off some parts at Retro so I thought I'd do a little session, which turned into a bigger session on the classics, Kal was about so that turned into a tour video and then my kids dragged me to Funland so I decided to do a little bit of filming there too.
Enjoy a fairly decent session on the classics.
£18 is most on skill Stopper when it was in Maidstone on 5p/£6 cash. Can repeat a few times for the feature. I'm not sure if it's guaranteed but I find if it offers a jackpot on skill Stopper and then repeats, it seems to always offer another Jackpot. I've only ever had it off the 5p/£6 cash tho. Never on the 20p/£6jp
Well it didn't repeat on me albeit the machine needs to go on 10p £6 really in there.
@@JamesHardyFruitMachines surprised you've never had it. Don't always offer repeat tho. I think 5 is most I've had but all Bar and Mix 7 wins tho.
I think I've had £6 £3 £6 on skill stopper. I once had £10 £10 £10 £1 £10 on Reel Skill on a £10 Road Hog, which was insane!

Was in Blackpool last week had forgotten about this place. Did visit Reel Vegas a few times and whilst the selection of slots is much better (almost too much as it's cramped in places) it's a shame I didn't venture here. Hopefully (like Retropolis in Southend) they upgrade the gambling licence to allow the preferred stake/prize combination.

Love this place, been about 8 weeks ago need to go again Money monster is the slot I played when I was younger. By far the hardest machine to find for me been trying to buy one for years.
I love Money Monster, was broken last time I went to Fareham so couldn't play it. Great game.

Very much enjoyed the 5 quidder Reds too. Its a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine just having a long row and getting battered by bkard costs. I remember a Stack Attack in Withernsea took 15 for a board, then boosted from 3 nudges to the top, 15 back. Work that one out...!
Board frequency on Barcrest games has always been an issue, so taking £15 in cold blood would have probably just set it off going and when its happy enough it'll be more than happy to boost up to the top.

@Rjrambo1982 yeah, wasn't doing anything. I think the only approach with these is to avoid boards and/or collect at the start of the board and see if you can force them to run.

Was that Funland at the end? Absolute disgrace the state a lot of the machines on the front are in. How does the average punter even stand a chance when they can’t see what’s going on? They’ll have been like that for years too - they’re in no rush to bulb them.

Monty Python £75 Jackpot was a fair machine when we had it in local
It appears fairly fair, what I've not done is taken it on, not played one in the wild and you are a bit blind in the main in retro arcades.
To be fair it's obviously monty python being the worst played. As its crazy streak is shit on 5er and Arabian it's always more than 5er. So ppl will see it out for a jackpot more as potential profit is higher.
Yet weridly all pretty similar on £15, weird how the coding is different when they go out on a fiver. Tbf don't really need games all basically the same in there.
@JamesHardyFruitMachines I've never understood why mate. On 5er monty playes same way as a Neptune's treasure on 5er. Arabian nights plays same as red hot kights on 5er both have a decent crazy streak. Anf the other 2 don't. When on 15 or 25 respectively for monty they play the same. This makes absolutely no fucking sense to me. Why not just use the same program for all 4. Shiek ya money is the same crazy streak shit. We worked out very quickly that it was super cash on monty on a flash and crazy on Arabian on a flash. I don't understand why barcrest messes with program. It don't make a difference to % like. So why bother going out of your way to change it on clones
Imo making a clone and programing slightly different defeats the object of cloning in the 1st place. I don't believe barcrest have done this with any other 5er program. Frenzy and cash beast exactly the same. And so on from experience
@@mrT-qp1mf I suppose although close, they're not all clones. Arabian and Red Hot seem to be (with the specific cash or feature KOs), where as Neptunes and Monty, you can use KOs on either side. It's probably more lazy programming, where the Crazy Cash is probably the same as the £15 version. A bit like Hi Lo Cash on Ready to Rock always seems to go to about £17 on a fiver JP.
@GuruJus you made a very good point there mate. The ko system is different on them. Never thought of it that way before. Ye it's we're though in it. But it is a running thing on barcrests that where made for 18s being out on 5er they seem to value the features closer to 15 jackpot. Hilo cash on temple can go decent as well on 5er. Think its guaranteed 6 quid

@roytheboy5179 played that on Monday and leathered it 😂 got the free board a repeat and then 2 more jps and a 3 quid in the space of a couple of quid but no run 😂 now I know why

Crazy Fruits in that newer shorter Eclipse cab...Is it just me or is that quite a rare sight? Usually it's in the taller older version. Or maybe I need a trip back home...
never runs that program in that cabinet properly but I don't think its that rare. I don't play it becuse if doesn't run more than anything.
@@JamesHardyFruitMachines Youve reminded me I did get a run on camera so I'll have to check cabinet. Got that run off 10 whole pence and took 6 pots out of it in the end! First board was a normal JP then next cred was a Mad For It.
10p in is pretty impressive! Yeah this one I've played quite a few times in the old retro and it doesn't run properly, hence why it never makes it on the channel anymore
@@JamesHardyFruitMachines Must be setting or percentage based. We had 2 in an arcade near me that never ran but mate and I used to do JP races because it was harmless. Some games on higher percentages couldnt save, esp some later mpu4s

Nowt good in Matlock these days unless you go to Bens house 😂 all the classics are there these days. Arcades used to be decent 25 years ago, made some good cash back then from Matlock Bath.
