Carolina Dreams, every song is great, however this one is always my favorite.

Doug has a wonderful soulful voice. He looks pretty steady to me. I don't care for these personal remarks about whether he is sober or drunk. Just enjoy the music, ok? If you don't like it, select something else. The man is not here to defend himself! Please be kind.

@sturoc0 I'm truly glad to hear He has his act back together . I saw him in the mid to late 90's @ The Jefferson County Fair in Hillsboro , Mo. He was so hammered he couldn't stand without holding on to the Mic stand and he couldn't even speak , much less sing . I felt sorry for him - they pulled him off after the third song because he damn near fell off the stage tryin' to get the crowd goin' ( stop booing ) He was pretty pathetic that night . I hope he's sobered up - love that voice
I was 16 when Carolina dreams came out. Most influential album of my life. Almost got the album cover as a tattoo.

One of my favorite Marshall Tucker songs it's kind of an unknown song but it's great I feel like Paul riddle is not recognize the greatest drummer has he is he's one of the all-time greats and rock music
There's a documentary on utube where Tommy who wrote this song talking about how a guy got drugged into robbing a bank, got out of prison, then turned on his friend, who by then was a stranger.
Doug could def sing great live. Great stuff from the whole band. Love MTB!
