Share thoda sa neeche girta tha or mai profit book kr leta tha. Uske baad share or uper chla jata tha. Ye mujhe pta hota to bina dr k stoploss lga k wait kr skta tha bdne ki.
I have two questions-
1) when I placed new buy order, if I use stoploss , what does it means ? Does it means buy and sell price both ?
2) I have some Bandhan bank stock 307, now these goes down now it is 267,..can I use stoploss in these holding stock ? If yes how ?

1: If you place stop loss Buy order, it mean you will be able to buy shares above market price LTP (resistance level).
2: You can use stop loss in any stock at any price if your stop loss doesn't get hit it will get cancel after closing market.
Example : In simple words , 1 share price 100 Rs. If you set stop loss order of 95 Rs. If the share price drops to 95 the system will execute ( means sell the share ) so loss of rs 5 only ...

Is the stop loss valid for one day only?
2) One more thing which was not clear to me is- In delivery orders, can stop loss be applied for both for "buy" & "sell"?

I have to say though, barring some initial snags, Groww stocks is improving greatly! Facility of IPOs & SL orders just made it better!

Aaj maine 1st time trade kiya or intraday trade kia. Saari positions ko sqaureoff karne k baad maine apna groww balance check kia to waha stock margin k naam se 132rs minus me dikha raha tha,jo ki raat 12 baje k baad contract note or mere profit adjustment k baad mujhe wapas aa gaya.
1st question
Ye -132 rs stock margin k naam pe mere account se jo temporarily blocked tha wo actual me tha kya?
2nd question
Contract note me last me bas 1 line me likha hua hai brokerage charge 109 rs
Uska mujhe agar break down chaiye to uske liye kya karna padega, atleast mujhe pata to chalnaa chaiye ki charges kaise kate hai.... Kis way me charge kata hai ye notice karke me apne trade karne k pattern ko improve kar sakta hu.
Total profit booking 1005rs ki thi.... Jisme se 165 rs kat k 840rs ka profit aaj mere account me add hua hai.

Groww app does not have a target price option also.
Till then, Groww is not recommended for intraday trading. Good for delivery orders only.

Bro came here for the same problem and after watching this video I understood this thing. Bdw Grows it's bit complicated. The thing is once you have placed a BUY order of Share A, you have to go to the SELL option and then you will place the stoploss order after filling the exact no of shares you've bought.
And to answer your question that how trigger price can be higher than market price, well that is for " Short selling" . We will use that when we have already sold the stocks and we will gonna buy them at the current market price or higher than that.
Same question why stop loss should be than market price??

Oh so basically stop loss order works as a stop loss and stop limit/stop market order. Cool, I was looking for a stop market order coz I dont like jumping into live market. I was confused about this order type earlier and thought it only works as a stop loss order and not stop limit or stop market order. I can trade on Groww now.
