Thanks for the Vid. Well done and so simple a cave man can manage this with a lift. Just took possession of my 2021 Mustang Mach 1. The speed shop quoted me $225.00 to install the Steeda H pipe I just received. Don't have a lift but I'm 5 ft 8 and 150 lbs and could easily get under her and do it myself. If I spend the 225 on tools that would simplify the job such as a hydraulic jack and a good set of wrenches and a sawzaw, could I still in your opinion pull this off without dropping the whole exhaust? Your thoughts are appreciated.
It would be the same procedure that you just witnessed, only closer to the ground and done on your back. No need to drop the whole exhaust. In my opinion you might be worse off if you dropped the whole thing since the hangers that support the exhaust help to hold it in place in relationship to the vehicle. $225 doesn’t go as far as it used to when it comes to buying good quality tools for supporting a vehicle that you are going to be working under. Although any investment in tools that you know you will use again, is a good investment in my opinion.
Correct. They do not insert into the H pipe and the clamps create the seal. Just make sure you keep a minimum distance between the pipes so the clamps have plenty of support under them.
Just bought a 21 GT a couple weeks ago. By far the happiest I've ever been with a stock exhaust lol

Impossible without dropping the whole exhaust it ain't that hard I just did mines in an hour and 14 minutes

So the rear pipes do not insert into the rear of the H pipe? When you cut them they just fit flush and the clamps create a seal?
