Hi, Ali. Must say that your two new cases are just beautiful. I have always liked neutral shades & the canvas has a look of such richness. This will work much better for you because in scaling down your items, it will be lighter for you to tote in your bag. Really liked your brass mechanical pencil with the sharpener. Very sleek. Your implements are of such high quality. That glass of wine just leaps off the page. You are indeed a fine artist. Hope your new cases give you hours of joy. Ali, take good care.Pat.🌷
Those cases were a bit of a splurge but I do love them. The colour matches my bag which is something I love. I’m really looking forward to trying them on the go but I’m a bit worried about getting them dirty 🤣🤣🤣 Sending hugs, Ali xxx
I love your new flat cases. Ali, you have such a knack for finding and organizing tools to fit in small spaces! It's amazing. Your second glass of wine turned out wonderful. Thank you for sharing! Hugs to you this week, Suzanne.
🤣🤣🤣I think I have more fun organising my supplies than I do using them! I’m the same with my TNS, I just love changing the setups. I’m totally amazed by the watercolour ground you sent me! So glad you did as it’s really good stuff! Thank you and you have a good week too, hugs, Ali x
Thank you Donna and I hope you love your case too. I’m thinking about spraying mine with a waterproof spray. I’m trying to pluck up the courage. When I do I will share the result on my channel 😀 My best wishes to you, Ali xxx
Oh love these new cases I actually purchased the pen case and from Japan.cannot wait .I d love the journal case also maybe next time great share Ali thanking you
What I have in my pen case to collect the bits that comes off the pencil when sharpen, is a small round tin jar. Like a small medicin or pill jar. It doesn’t take up a lot of space and I can use my sharpener anywhere.
28:06 Loved your video of the setup for watercolors in your new canvas pouches. Enjoyed watching you watercolor the glass. You make things look so easy. I’m home again from the hospital. I’ve had pneumonia since October. They are having a difficult time getting rid of it. Hope you had a nice Holiday. Say hi to Kiwi for me. Mary ❤ Hugs to you Ali! 28:06
Hi Mary, it is always so lovely to hear from you! I will certainly say hi to Kiwi for you! I so hope that the pneumonia has gone now! You poor thing! That is a horrible illness to suffer. You are in my thoughts Mary, my best wishes, Ali xxxxx
A few years ago, I bought an Etchr mini watercolor palette. It’s the cutest thing. It’s round, 2 ceramic pieces, one holds 37 colors, the other for mixing, they stack in a tiny tin and the whole thing fits in the palm of my hand. Best purchase ever. Of course, I don’t need 37 colors, but it’s a fun way to include the basic warm and cool primaries and still have all the other colors I like to use. (They also have a version with 19 wells)
What a nice pouches!!!! So handy. And i was wondering how your watercolor should work with the groundpaint. Super!!!! Loved it, thanks for your lovely video!!😍
Thank you! The pouches were a bit of a splurge but I do love them! The little lead pointer is so cute and pretty and fairly inexpensive! Sending you hugs, Ali xx
I love ur travel setup… I carry a superior labor tool pouch in black. In it I carry 3 of my favorite pens: one black felt tip, one black gel, one purple gel. One mechanical pencil, a pair of tiny scissors (tools to live by) in black, a piece of kneaded eraser, and a small sharper for my black kaweco sport lead holder that I carry along with a kaweco sport black fountain pen on a double pen holder clip also by the superior labor. The clip is attached to my A6 superior labor cover. I also carry another little zipper pouch where I carry an adhesive tape, washi, tweezers, paperclips, and a black eraser. I really want to carry some watercolor paint and a little travel brush. 😊
Your set up sounds lovely. I imagine that all the black together looks really elegant! I’m sure adding watercolour would be a great addition. Such a quick and easy way to add colour to a journal and/ or colour a quick sketch! Thank you so much for taking the time to comment, my best wishes, Ali xxx
Am weeping...😭 😂 so funny that we had a similar idea almost simultaneously! I'm glad one of us got the Yuruliku! I will just have to enjoy yours vicariously...whilst hoping my Lihat falls apart so I can excuse an upgrade...is that bad? 😆 Really impressed with that watercolour ground! Wow! 💞Louise
Me too I couldn’t believe it! Great minds. I’m sorry to say but I don’t think your lihit lab will fall to pieces as they are great quality. I don’t have that one but I bought one of my granddaughters a larger one and it’s lasted her years, she loves it! I think you made a wise choice as I am already panicking about getting my flat cases dirty. I’m trying to pluck up the courage to spray them with a waterproof spray 🤣🤣 I’m going to do a video comparing my Yuruliku three pen flat case with the lihit lan hinemo as they are similar size and the latter is much much cheaper and lovely too! And yes…the watercolour ground is amazing! I’m looking forward to experimenting with it further! Xxxx
