Hello Dads and Oliver- recently lost my husband Bob of 32 years- 2 months later had to put both of our dogs Sampson and Jackson to sleep- thank you so much for this vlog- made me smile and was so relaxing to watch- felt like a mini vacation- what I can say is never take your little family unit for granted which is easy to do- appreciate every single moment with each other- God bless xx

Your camper and truck look great! A younger me did tent camping. Now, I go camping in a motorhome. Happy to see Oliver back to enjoying life free of that Cone of Shame! Oliver looks like roughing it agrees with him - especially the food!
Can you imagine waking up to a view like that?!?!?!? I would feel as if i were in a dream even while awake. Did you see lots of stars Oliver? Did you get to see the milky way? I would imagine that with total darkness, the night sky would just displays all of its heavenly treasures that much more brightly.
@@OlivertheBeagle my dream, when I retire in 5 years is to do extended trips like this. On my to do list is one night lie on the ground in a place that is pitch black dark and just look up to the heavens for hours - taking in the celestial light show and i would bring a telescope. I would look all night !
Oliver doesn't mind if you dropped that hamburger on the ground! He was very well behaved, not to have snatched that steak right off of the plate. My beagles definitely would have! I am so glad that Oliver is doing well and is enjoying his trip. Such beautiful scenery! I love seeing Oliver 's floppy beagle ears blowing in the wind and him running around living his best life! lol, thanks! Oliver *loves* eating food from the ground, alas--especially in playgrounds, where little kids have spilled potato chips or popcorn on the ground. We call them his "ground snacks." :)

Just watched this vid for like the 7th time and all I can say is that after everything Oliver has been through, he is entitled to stretch out horizontally as much as he likes and as stretched out as his little body can stretch. Another observation: Scott and Wayne it is a testament to how secure and safe he feels as evidenced by the fact that he went to sleep - snoring even - completely and without a care in the world despite being in an unknown environment. Snuggled in the middle he knows he is safe. What a tribute to love and caring. Would that all dogs and cats could have the same care and love. ❤ brings a tear of joy to my eyes.

Yes, we got to see the Milky Way! There are so many stars in the desert... like a carpet of stars in the sky.
