So happy to see you again. Love the new Jimmy look! Should have included the song, “I can see clearly now…” Loved that you are back and sharing new experiences!!
Hey, Jimmie, that's no "creek" flowing through Goosenecks State Park, it's the San Juan River, one of the largest tributaries of the Colorado River. In fact, you spent most of your time in this video exploring the San Juan River drainage, which includes the Animas River, a San Juan tributary running through both Silverton and Durango. You can be forgiven for confusing rivers and creeks, given that you come from North Carolina, where the creeks are bigger than our rivers are out west! 🙂
Yep. I’m responding just like the kids. I’m bawling. But because I’m SO HAPPY FOR YOU BOTH! Ya’ll are so darn adorable, I wish I could adopt you.❤TN Nana
Your map route across Ohio appears to be just the north. If you can and have time, check out South and Central Ohio. Southern Ohio has awesome places like Cantwell Cliffs, Old Man's and Ash caves. Central Ohio has the Airforce museum in Dayton, the Mansfield area has the Shawshank tour, and tons of other things to do. Fairfield in southern Ohio outside of Cincinnati has the coolest grocery store ever, Jungle Jim's, Nelsonville has Rocky Boots, and a train ride. And much much more ❤

Congratulations on the Lasik Jimmy. It must feel a bit strange to no longer need glasses. I think it's so awesome you both found each other at a young age and are building/living an amazing life full of incredible memories on these adventures together. So happy for you.

Yay, Jimmy! I had Radial Ketatotomy (pre-lasic surgery day where they cut the cornea by hand). It made such a dramatic difference in my vision. If you were as blind as I was, it is amazing! I had to wear banadages for 24 hours and cried when they took the bandages off and I could see clearly. I've heard the lasic surgery is so much better than RK. Congrats! It"s so good to see y'all again! Much love from SC, Jane❤🙏

If you go to Leavenworth Washington and if it's warm enough try rafting down the Wenatchee River if you go to Wenatchee, stay at harvest host at Ohme gardens and enjoy the hike around the area. Such a fun train ride. Did the same in july 2014. Stayed in a camp ground next to the river with the tracks running through the grounds. 2 trains out and back everyday. There was a free city tram from the campground to the train station. We rode the us up to Silverton and rode the train back down to Durango. It was very expensive...over 100.00 per person. Cheaper than Disney with way better view.
I would recommend going to Bayfield, Wisconsin which is in the extreme northern part of the state on Lake Superior. Also highway 35 The Great River road along the Mississippi River is nice especially in the Stockholm and Maiden Rock area but the whole length of the state is awesome.
I haven't watched you two since you were camping along the Calif. coast Monterey/Big Sir on highway one. A good video here, very entertaining, looking forward to following you on this new journey across the U.S.

Congratulations Jimmy on being glasses free! Pretty wonderful to see clearly without glasses isn’t it. The train ride looked amazing. I love those old train whistles and the wood in the cars is beautiful.
Durango Silverton train is a must do for anyone in the area. I splurged and paid for the car on the end of the train with only about 18 people. We got to sit on the end of the train and look back. The town of Silverton is cool to visit too. Durango has been over run by people from other states upping the real estate prices so locals can't afford to live there.
Great video! We've seen Goosenecks SP and thought it was a surprisingly interesting place, even though it's a little out of the way. We missed riding the Durango/Silverton train because of truck problems, but hope to get there someday. We consoled ourselves by riding the Verde River Canyon RR out of Cottonwood, Arizona, later on that year. We like train rides and have ridden several old time steam train rides in various places.
