When its time to write reports, having something entertaining to listen to on headphones helps block out the distractions of the office and also pass the workday much faster. This makes me even more excited to play a Paladin of Bane. I am trying to figure it whether i would ally with the Butcher (and the Absolute in general), if i can perhaps take his place, or if i should be an enemy of the Absolute as a Bane purist... i hope the game has some interesting interactions for Dead Three worshippers, as of no there is pretty much nothing, sadly...
Bloody hells, just from this video alone I can see a lot of choices and outcomes... Can't wait to pick between intense choices in my first playthrough and hope for picking the lesser evil one. I don't mind spoilers as long we are in early access, awesome video as always! :)

Layers upon layers! So much to discover and uncover, it is hard to resist the pull of the story! I know some people don't like spoilers because they lose the surprise factor. Wow, that one, once again is just massive! I thought the video talking about our role in the Absolute conspiracy was exciting, but this, this makes me hyped! There's so much awesome stuff waiting for us that my only complaint (or more like a light concern) is Larian possibly keeping it up at all times throughout the whole game. I like that the game starts with an explosion and things even escalate from there, but I feel like after the Moonrise Towers (which are probably even more mind blowing) we're going to need some break. A part where the plot is a bit more mundane. I think Baldur's Gate with its political intrigues and shady dealings can serve this purpose.
Yeah, it seems very action packed but I wonder if it will seem like that in the actual game. Maybe the filling in the gaps makes it seem bigger than it is. I reckon Larian will definitely focus on some of the politics in BG, there is so much potential for it and I've already found some lines relating to the political happenings there. Man, this game really does something with stakes and epic-ness, ey? What level one campaign ever started off with the Blood War, the Dead Three, Githyanki and Mindlayers, Selûne vs Shar, Shadow Druids, a hag *and* Drow in *THE FIRST CHAPTER*??
Yes! I'm excited! I've been wanting to take down Githyanki since NW2. I'm so excited of all the alternative choices that this game provides. It's a true RPG game. I'm so excited for the full release. Although we got some ways to go. The patches are something! I wasn't really too excited for heading to the creche until after seeing this! Thanks Harbs Narbs! 🤗

I agree! NWN2 is really the only other game where the Githyanki had a big presence in the story and it was great taking them down. It's freaking awesome we're getting another true RPG where they'll have a huge role! I'm freaking excited for this game!

The very concept of encountering a dragon-elderbrain is so exciting! And it makes a lot of sense that the Mindflayers would seize the opportunity. First of, what a bitchslap to Vlakkith, to take one of "her" dragons and make it their own stead. Second, the fact that an elder brain cannot move on it's own is a tactical weakness, eliminating that makes an already terrible thing truly dreadful.

This is going to be amazing :) We'll have power struggles, within ongoing power struggles. Friends and foes could rapidly change sides in this game. The few times I interacted with the patrol, I found it strange that Lae'zel isn't flat out ditching my party when we get there.
Yep! It's going to have a lot of layers to it. I guess Githyanki are naturally quite suspicious of each other, especially someone like Lae'zel who is young and hasn't even proved herself yet.

While I realise that implementing all the gods in the game would take forever, I found it odd that the Morninglord wasn't available for players as a deity, especially since old mate seems to be a popular choice for light domain clerics. Please note that haven't had a chance to play the latest patch, and I'm not as lore savvy as I'd like to be so I could have just missed it 🙈 But great insight as usual! Love it. I'm always super jazzed with all the lore/histories/theories you give us!
Mention of a solar machine is interesting. There is another sun machine called the solar insidiator in Descent into Avernus, and it was ordered to be made by Zariel who was also a servant of the sun god
Sounds like Larian had something much cooler planned for the Githyanki creche but was probably too ambitious for the timeframe they had to finish the game. What we got in the final game was still cool and probably one of the best parts of the game but I would have like to have seen this. The Githyanki being more involved with fighting the cult.
Now, Cazador also wants the Butcher dead too. If they die before this event, that will change the potential outcome of the plot here. This really is interesting, and I can't wait to dive in!
Kinda crazy watching theese videos while waiting for the BG3 Releasedate and you can puzzle more and more together. (Spoiler) For Example: Now on 8:45 we know who Orin is and the Scene is something diffrent than it was before to me. I am kinda scared to meaningfully spoil myself by that interaction since i might see this ingame but given the nature of Orin it might not look like her in the cutscene but now i KNOW.

It seems like the factions in the game will get really complex, which I like as it doesn't seem black and white with the classic good vs evil.
