The thing about the Jeffrey dahmer case and that boy, the reason the police did that was largely due to homophobia at the time. The police thought that this was just something gay people did, in terms of the handcuffs and really didn't want to do their jobs, largely it was due to the AID crisis and homophobia that was linked to being gay.
If you guys like the story telling+true crime from MrBallen, i’m sure you would love the channel “That Chapter”. He’s a great story teller, shows a lot of footage/911 calls, and doesn’t take himself TOO seriously. Just a recommendation. Keep it up
As a fellow Wisconsinite I found out alot about the Jeffrey Dahmer case. 2 important things that should've happened but didn't: 1. the reason why he has so many victims was largely due to his paperwork being lost that said, he touched a minor. He was on parole while they lost his paperwork. Also the kid was 14 😢 and the brother of that minor(of which Jeff said,"Had no idea they're brothers.") 2. The police didn't look up Jeff's name when it came to the 14 yr old and DIDN'T HAVE ID. My fellow Wisconsinites blame the police for not doing their jobs in saving that boy. The neighbors called it in, but were more than willing to arrest them just because.
They were suspended apologized for their homophobic behavior and later fired for their involvement with Jeffrey Dahmer or the lack thereof at the time. I heard the police department recently(2005-09) congratulated the cops John Balcerzak and Joseph T. Gabrish reinstated and given $55,000 each, and John Balcerzak became president of the MPA(Milwaukee Police Association) the police union for Milwaukee officers from 2005-09 John Balcerzak retired from the police in 2017 with benefits and the department posted it on Facebook and boy did the public have a lot to say about it. 😳 ❤ the video just don't want Milwaukee to be infamous for the wrong reasons like Plainfield WI with Ed Gein which inspired "Psycho", and "Texas Chainsaw Massacre"
