Hi Tommy nice to see you again, and wearing that famous polo shirt. Yes lots off prep, nothing can be left behind, you obviously know a friend off mine who is in the same situation, a Mr Mark Harper, he talked to me off the prep required, and the build up. I remember sitting behind you on the division one National on the Huntspill River in Bridgewater, you caught on the Waggler, dotted down, and drank my coffee, also chatted to you in Ireland on the king off clubs. Great times, Denise white was there also and the great Frank Barlow. I wish you all the best , bring back the gold. Steve Hutchinson
tommy im from Hemsworth and my dad was a kirkby lad. i remember growing up i used to always talk about the sportsmen that were local and had got to the top of there sports (rugby football mainly) my dad always stopped me and told me about you being one of the best sportsmen from the area. im 45 now and lost my dad when i was 21. i have only been fishing for 5 months but i feel my dad would be well happy I've been watching your videos for guidance and to help me progress. good luck in hungry mate love the kirkby passion keep it up and thank you. PS he grew up on grove mount.
Tommy, I have been following you on and off for many years and its just wonderful to see you wearing the Hallowed 3 Lions Shirt again. I am a local match man who enjoys his fishing and watches your Video's when ever I can. I must admit that to see your set up is amazing. By the way as a sufferer from a very bad back I always remember to set my box up as you showed with that slight angle forward. I wish you and the rest of the Team the very best in Hungary and fingers crossed that the Yellow Metal medals come back with you. Unfortunately I dont do Facebook so will try and follow you where possible. Good luck Tommy and make the Lions roar with pride.
I fished small club matches and I had what I thought was probably too much gear. That set-up is amazing. I was never too technical so I wouldn't know how to use much of that gear. Also, I was never too physical so, at 70, I couldn't shift that without a forklift. Good luck!
All the best Tom and thanks for sharing this insight, really wish there was more exposure after all this is a national event and your flying our flag 👍🏻👍🏻 your attention to detail always amazes me 👍🏻
Great stuff Tommy. You're the same age as me and Im pretty sure I can remember you coming in my Uncle Kens (Swift) shop on Mill Lane South Kirkby when I was a lad and went there in school holidays for many years. He used to talk about you as he was a fisherman too. Love your videos and enthusiasm is just as strong after all these years!!!!
EEyup Tommy,i'm from Mexborough.Go and get em m8,its about time you had another pair of Golds,Team and Individual.Hopefully i will see you at Aston for the Fujka day and i will see your new medals.
