- Rosco makes us laugh. Part human, part tiger. Not sure where the dog part goes sometimes. Doesn’t like going for a run. Does like chicken pasta. Loves when he or his siblings receive parcels in the mail.
Thank you to those who have sent us and the doggies gifts in the mail. It continues to be such a highlight and we especially love how a dog like Hope thinks it’s just the absolute bees knees!
Cruiser is doing so so so well. Gee I was a proud Mumma. Learning ( very very early beginnings of) to chase the toy and not the dog. Perfect recall when called off Hope in a very intense run and his chompers were like millimetres away from her behind. Plus the same perfect response when he came within metres of Plover chicks. He is trying so hard and whilst they’re tiny weeny baby steps every day we feel very positive when he makes some really good progress in our eyes.
And finally, a very big ‘I’m sorry’ to you all. I forgot to put a microphone on myself and so it’s Luke loud and clear and a muffled second voice. Very sorry. I just simply forgot and have only just realised upon putting this together. Will remember for next time.

I have wondered why I can't stand people talking b.s for a second or wait for them to be a few minutes late. But I can watch for hours of doggies licking peanut butter or running & dancing with sticks, diving for balls, just running over the field, or just sleeping. Thank you Luke & Sam for my doggie Saturday morning. Now I am ready to face the humans 🤣🤣🤣😅😅😅

I love watching Maggie when you give the call to come through the gate….she is always at the front, but has to wait to see the others running past her to know it’s OK to go! Working as a pack….so wonderful. ❤️🐾

Yeah I laugh every time at this. I have the same prob with my deafy - have to get the hearing dog to go get her if we are going for a walk,car ride or beach run

The first ten minutes gave me such a lift. Roscoe being his lovable self, the ranger full of dogs like a clown car, and Luke driving along with a big smile on his face. Thank you for that. I needed it today.

@@cmeflywva I tried googling it and a pokie is basically a poker game machine and RSL is a support organization for the military. It sounds like it is similar to the Legion that we have in Canada.
Pokies = poker machines / slot machines
RSL = Returned Services League / veterans social organisation
Literally means that slot machines in a veteran's social club are popularly held to be generous in paying out. They were famously small bet machines that paid small prizes more often.
RSLs are found all across Australia and were very influential community pillars, especially outside big cities.

Seeing how much the doggies love peanut butter reminds me of our two late pups. We discovered they loved peanut butter quite by accident. Later, when we were trying to figure out how to give pills we went back to the peanut butter and never had a pill refusal again. They would even open their mouths on command because they knew there was peanut butter involved. LOL
Get a blob of peanut butter on the end of your finger
Enclose the pill in the peanut butter
Let pup smell the peanut butter
When the mouth opens, place your finger in the mouth while touching the top teeth with that finger and slide the peanut butter onto the roof of the mouth.
BINGO! Pill taken.

I Absolutely love the Great dog Roscoe has become. It's wonderful to see Roscoe and the other last chance rescues become happy dogs. My cattle dog would love to get in on some of the squeaky toy action. The German Shepard I adopted almost a year ago now didn't know how to play with toys she is slowly starting to chase a ball and shake her squeaky stuffed animals. Love you all.

Coping with a frozen shoulder l am so envious of the throws Luke does for the dogs.The best throw my dog gets at the moment is a short dribble along the ground which she just looks at me as if she is thinking “ is that really the best you can do”.

I've had that too; very nasty! Calling it 'frozen' sounds like it would be numb, painless, feeling nothing, but it hurts a LOT! Fortunately, it does go away eventually...

She has Gracilus Contracture (sp?) in her hind left leg...specific to GSDs, treatable but incurable.
I noticed Lily today, also. If she’s hurting, she sure isn’t showing it to the pack. Her form might be different but her heart is right there running with her pack. Cutie Pie is the spunkiest pup I know. She absolutely runs the show. I’ve never seen one of the dogs give her any grief. She’s always in charge.
I tried to post the link to the video that shows Lily explaining her back story and her treatments but it got removed...well worth looking for on their GSD channel.

I love watching the fur babies enjoying their peanut butter.... eyes half closed.... lick, lick, lick.... peanut butter bliss! I have to say, nowadays I enjoy peanut butter more than just eating it after seeing their appreciation for it.
Not sure the name of the vehicle, but when 5 dogs piled out it was kind of like a clown car in the circus. I do love present opening - Roscoe is a riot, but what truly makes it wonderful is to see Hope. She came to the farm so shut down she couldn’t do anything, and now she is vying for presents and peanut butter and hugs and toys. Lutte MV continues to amaze me - her physical limitations don’t limit her at all. She has mapped out the entire farm, and uses the aids she has - people, shadows, dogs, her sense of smell - to allow her to run full tilt around the pond, the fields, the big pool, the yard. I love watching CP march alongside Luke as he goes around with all the dogs. I know it is a safety thing that he trained CP to do. But she kind of looks as though she is his private security force as the rest of the dogs just dash astound.

Another wonderful, heartwarming video! So glad Cruiser is working things out. He seems so happy when he is with the dogs and his humans. Whenever Cruiser ramped up around beautiful with Hope with her toy who appeared in the video? Deputy Barney placing himself in just the right spot to take care of his sister Hope. Good boy Barney!
