This conversation was as good as a clean energy 101 crash course! So much to unpack from how bureaucracy and legislation might be a bigger obstacle in climate innovation, rather than technical limitations, to numerous nuggets of information about state-level energy policies (e.g. did not anticipate Texas being the highest producer of electricity from non-renewable sources!!), how the IRA has given a lot of tangible shape to clean energy policy, how there are widespread psychological and socio-political and economic nuances affecting clean energy production and adoption and just how complicated the whole puzzle of climate change and carbon-free lifestyle is.
No better guest than the man behind Volts podcast himself to have broken down so much information into simpler terms, and kudos to the host for facilitating an accessible and thoroughly engaging conversation!
