@@tomstruct This vapid nonsense deviates greatly from Richard Denniss typically excellent economic narrative. This is Western liberal fascism, full-on, no holds barred American exceptionalism, they didn't miss a single mainstream corporate media trope.
@@tomstruct AI's economic analysis is great, but this fascistic Western liberal exceptionalism narrative is unbelievably bad, amateurish, uninformed nonsense.
I know right, the one dimensional, low information Boomer narrative presented here is absolutely abysmal, they manage to check every idiot blue-dog Western liberal box.
I don't really get why people like this have to keep up the pretense of the USA being a democracy. It's actions have been the most anti-demoratic of any currently existing state, except for maybe the British.
I find it interesting that you don't at all talk about the more crucial internal battles, that play out between lobbyists. Whether it's Qatari vs. Saudi influence, or Lockheed Martin vs. Zuckerberg. These are the battles that actually decide American external policy, which is the most important question for a country like Australia. Are lobbyists of one kind or another going to convince the Americans to abandon us in a moment of need [possibly]. If they might do that, then shouldn't we formulate policy for what to do in a world without America [yes]. Does that involve a full, or partial break on the lies of Western (see your discussion of white) supremacy, like carte blanche for Israel's Gaza genocide, arming Nazis in Ukraine, enabling Arab monarchies, etc [I don't know because nobody is brave enough to have an honest debate about reality].
Oh my, no mention of the USA's gen0syde 😵 Previous to ES coverage of the USA, I loved everything the AI did. But of late, Ive been repeatedly unimpressed at this super middle of the road coverage. Disappointed 😞
Julian Assange is the Boy who cried Wolf, in the face of a world of Wolves. He gets punished like Cassandra and the boy and anyone else who stands up to bullying.
australia really should be sovereign from the u.s.
Agree. But the United States of Israel has total control of all facets in Australia. 😔🇦🇺
I agree but it will be a huge step for our country. We have been vassals of an empire since European settlement.
Yahtink?
The USA should be independent from Washington.

Love it!
We need to have an adult conversation about AUKUS. Too many costs to Australia, and we tread too close to American fascism.

You say in defence of the wolf pack that killed 4.5 million people during Assange's active time as a journalist and political prisoner...
@@senorfreebie read it again, @davidwilkie9551 is not defending the wolf pack.
