Spike Lee's highly anticipated Bad25 celebrating Michael Jackson premiers at the 69th Venice Film Festival. Exceeding expectations, this outstanding documentary in honour of one of the greatest entertainers of our time, one of the few artists who could legitimately claim to be Elvis Presley's successor as the King of Pop, is a fitting tribute.
Spike Lee is himself being honored at Venice where he has had a constant presence since his film Clockers was shown in competition in 1995. His film career has spanned 30 years and covered a range of political and social issues with ingenuity, creativity and courage. Great interview from Spike Lee. I appreciate everything he says about Michael, from someone who knew him and had worked with him. First hand experience counts for a lot (a lot of media 'experts' and commentators seem to forget that). Thank you Spike. I am looking forward to when the documentary screens in Australia.
I think Spike Lee did a really good job with the Bad 25 documentary. I love to hear stories about MJ from people who have known him and worked with him. This documentary made me laugh and cry at the same time. It's the best documentary about mj I've seen, because it's about the music and not about his private life as many other mj documentary is based on. The funny thing is that even though MJ is death, he continued to impress me with his great talent. Read Part 2 of my comment in the above.

I loved MJ since I was 8 yo old. I discovered Prince when I was in elementary school, about 11 years old. I love them both and there's no comparison because they are so different. They are both talented men and they both left their mark on all of their fans. God blessed two talented men and the music world will ever be in their debt. Thank you for MJ and Prince.

Finally I took him to the Sydney zoo on a ferry and he was asking me how you could make a whole vessel out of wood!Lightening struck and his entourage were cowering but he was laughing. He loved them all so much.Michael and I sat in the seal show by ourselves, RIP, I will never forget.I just wish I could have helped you.I can barely watch Man in the Mirror, it is so intensely Michael.He was a perfectionist.He was smart.He was fun.He was friendly.He was a genius and he had never been to school!

I don't know which "Man and the Mirror" Spike Lee is talking about, but if you see the one on "MJ: Live in Bucharest" it will literally have you in tears....Michael had left this planet when he was singing this too.......LOVE AND MISS THIS MAN!!
I went on this tour around Australia as Pepsi PR person and it was the most amazing experience. I then went on the Dangerous tour but the BAD tour was Michael at his best and I met Sheryl Crow and her friends. They were all friendly, polite and fun. Everyone around Michael were professional. I went on many other tours such as Gloria Estefan, Tina Turner, but BAD Tour was incredibly intense, the power, the magic was over the top x

Where can I see the WHOLE documentary? There is an hour long version that was broadcast on ABC but there are so many small bits that are out there as well. There seems to be footage devoted to each song. I've just seen the footage for "Just good friends" with Stevie Wonder. This was obviously a huge project when Michael was at his best. I would gladly pay for the whole documentary.

Bad 25 is the best documentary made on Michael Jackson. There are so many documentaries I have seen made on him but this is the best. This documentary truly display him how much the greatest artist, dancer, entertainer he was. The world should remember him in that way. He was born to entertain and serve the people at their worse time as a Greatest Humanitarian. I always pray that he rest in peace. He suffered a lot and it bothered me to this day. Love you my heart ❤ our angel Rest in peace 🙏🏼😔
Bad is such an underrated album. Most of the songs were hits and Michael wrote some of his most iconic 1980s songs like "Liberian Girls" and "Leave Me Alone".
YAY! I received it today Very beautiful package. And yes the pics in the booklets are amazing. Love the program book especially. Never had it before I got the Japan version. Soon I will watch the DVD and listen to the CDs. =)

hi, no the Spike Lee documentary isn't in the boxed set. It won't be out until Feb. 2013, and on tv in Nov. But the dvd of the Wembley concert was in the boxed set, as well as 3 cds. The booklets are so lovely. I have watched the dvd 3+ times since I bought it on Tues. Was so worth the price of it.

I'm a singer and I wanted to give his type of energy that he expressed I wanted to be him too it's so many similarities that people can relate to with MJ Fred Estare and Gene Kelly those were people I love to watch also Tony Curtis he had style / MJ gave you the magic that no longer exist and I will miss that and I will truly miss him

I got my copies at HMV, but when I checked at other stores, they weren't getting them/or didn't have any left. Do you have the special Pepsi cans with Michael on therm? They don't have them in Canada yet, and may not even be getting them for some reason.

hi, no the booklets do not have any pic from Jackson 5 days, just from Bad - people behind the scenes. Unheard songs - Abortion papers, I'm so blue, and the Spanish and French (I had never heard the French version) of I just can't stop loving you. I hope you can get a boxed set before they are gone. I tried to send you a note, but it said your channel wasn't available. I hope you get this note.

The program book I already owned is called Michael Jackson Japan Tour 87'. I see it on Ebay for over $200.00 O_O I got mines more then 10yrs ago. Oh I saw the DVD and OMG I was like pullin my hair lol It was amazing! The bonus music CD is also fantastic. Al Capone is incredible, just lovin the whole package! =)
Perhaps so? Not sure? I should have said maybe instead. But, Spike didn't give a date in a recent Q&A I seen here on YT. He just said that it will be a two disc DVD with the unedited version that will differ from what ABC will show on Thanksgiving with another extra Hr. Which will makes it 3hrs. =)
