I remember going kayaking underneath the Millau in 2013. We drove over it on the way home. I recently watched a documentary about it and wanted to see more. Thx
Although I hate heights this doesnt look too bad because the sides are well covered and tall so you dont feel like you'd fall off. I could maybe drive over this.
Loved it, brings so many warm memories. Love to watch it during long cold winter months as it is my annual route A75 and A9 to my summer holiday place and Millau, is the marker we getting close, we are now in Med..
The visual approach from the North looks very different than the opposite direction. I've crossed the viaduct three times, always from the South, though.
So you came from the north, but instead of going directly onto the bridge, you veered right following some narrow road. Did you drive down and through what Google Maps shows as Aire du Viaduct de Millau? Looking at Google Maps, I cannot parse and see an access road that veers like that coming from the north, you would just go straight onto the bridge, it looks like. ?? Great video, BTW.
Horrible, je veux dire un véritable gâchis, mais seulement pour un puriste comme moi qui ne supporte pas les interventions intempestives de l'homme sur le paysage. C'est un peu con, je sais...

Never seen the bridge from that perspective, Until Now! Thanks for the epic ride!

Agree - not so good if you're breakdown and you're beside the edge.
What a spectacular viaduct. Great subject matter and presentation
Just awesome! I love how you see it in the distance.
Magnifique

Canoed under, walked under, driven over, train under. When I first saw it in 2011 I was a bit concerned about it falling down.

It's a rest area (called an 'aire' in French). It offers a great view of the bridge.
That's astounding!
How long is the span?
Alan Fox the entire bridge is nearly 2.5 km long and has 6 spans of 342 m and 2 of 204 m.

Il faut aussi dire que ça a changé la vie des habitants de Millau
