Great video, I just pulled the trigger on a 993 C4S and am looking for some subtle mods. Your car looks great, I'd leave it alone! Stock Porsche is best Porsche :)
Nice and Simple...years ago..I wouldn't have really understood why ppl buy shit that they don't want to touch..but when you get older and you don't want to blow crazy money in cars..You just want a fully functioning, comfortable, sporty, reliable car and focus on driving..🏁👍
great video!! Your purchase and videos of your 2cs was a major influence in me recently acquiring one as well. Please keep the content coming to help me sort through all i should do to improve my 2cs.
Awesome! Clear markers are part of the sports package. Ambers for the C2. Those Sports seats are amazing, and that split grill in the back is enough to want the car. Very cool!
Great car and very tasty modifications, I appreciate the fact you kept a right balance and didn’t go over the top. Enjoy your 993 as I do with mine 1996 C2 NB, regards from Poland
I like that your wheels, almost look color matched to the car. Thing about the Porsche is she really don't need to change it, because it can't look any better than it already does it
Had to save this video man! So glad you went into detail about adjusting the wheels to fill out the fender wells. This is my attainable dream car and this vid makes me hungrier for it
As always, a real pleasure listening to your videos. What a wonderful car! I love that you share with us your thought process behind the decisions you made. (I also prefer the amber corners, did the same on my 2.3-16)
I know Im asking randomly but does anyone know a tool to log back into an Instagram account? I was stupid forgot my password. I love any assistance you can give me!
@Bennett Tommy I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and im in the hacking process now. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
You did an excellent job, no crazy modifications, just made a great car greater. Hey if you are willing to part with this, pls let me know...serious. thanks
Nice tasty upgrades. I have a 1996 C2 in Artic Silver with black interior. You're absolutely spot on about your comments regarding adding wings and flares. Like you, I prefer the sleek lines of the traditional 911. Keep in coming.
What a beaut! One of the best examples of what I feel is the pinnacle of Porsche 911. So much tasteful Goldilocks detail:, Color matched seat backs! Inspired to load up on ramen and get me one of them. Thanks for sharing.
Solid tweaks. I love the choices of where to massage this beast...question: did you rewire the LED’s in the Turbo S ducts to run as fogs? Would love some content on THAT! I am a fan of my 5-light LED kit (frunk, engine lid, glove box, and 2x interior lights) from Amazon. It’s like $30 so if you don’t like it, replace the OEM bulbs...I bet you won’t. Finally, please tell me you got a Pad Protector through FD...talk about a much improved engine bay vibe...
I didn't fully rewire them but I believe it can be done with a jumper in the relay box. I did buy matching receptacles from a Volkswagen dealer (oddly enough) and attached them to the LEDs, making it a true plug and play to the car. Also easily reversible since I didn't have to hack any of the car's wiring.
Dream car for me, brother. Yours is exactly how I would do it. OEM+ is my philosophy. And I agree, just aim for the dream car straight away. But..... I can't be mad at a good rx7. Those are still great driver's cars in my opinion. Rotaries can be finicky, but still one of the greats, namely the fd. Balanced but playful handling. Was it that you didn't like the rx7, or was it just the fact that you felt like you should have just put your energy and funds into getting the Porsche?
Brilliant touches you made to your 993 👌 How are you finding your Rennline Pedal set so far? I'm not trying to pretend to be knowledgable on aircooled 911s but when I casually observe 993s on used car websites, I often see the pedals looking like they're positioned inaccurately after several years of long use. I'm guessing those pedals would provide you with a more confident feel? Thanks in advance.
Nice car, im also thinking to change the front light to the turbo s ducts… can you tell me have the ducts a function? I mean aero or cooling function for the breaks?
Lovely car, now your car will be very portly, what you need to do is change the steering wheel for a Momo 7 like the GT2 , hold ur current and the Momo, you will weep at how heavy the former is, then do the door cards to RS versions, you will pass out from shock at how heavy the original door cards are, install some strut brace to stiffen the front, then remove the Cats your car will sound wild and you will nearly pass out from joy when you pass 4.5k rpm, (don’t forget to remove the engine shield cover), you will gain free HP and reduce weight, change the exhaust heat shields, get some lightweight flywheel and RS engine mounts and gear box mounts. There are extra bits I’ve done to mine to reduce weight but I suspect you will not want to get that far. However “You” will have possibly the best automotive experience known to man every time you get behind the wheel. When there lungs are free from restriction, nothing on these planet sounds as mental and intoxicating as a liberated 993 engine at 5k rpm, with ITB’s it’s VERY arguably the BEST engine note a man is likely ever hear in his life outside of when with your other half reaches orgasm in your hands...
Very nicely done. Lovin it. Tell me what kind of polyurethane bushing you had installed? How many miles on this beauty? I have a 97’ 993 with 75k miles. Thinking about tighten up the car a bit. Yesterday I noticed the check engine came on. Plan to take her in for a check up. Are you in southern cal? Thanks for sharing your ride
You just convinced me to go back to ambers for a while! Did you re-wire the Turbo S intake lights to run as fog lights? IMO the $30 5-light interior LED is a good idea...and way better light quality than the OEM, especially in the frunk and the engine lids. Finally, any thoughts on a 80% ceramic tint on all glass? How about a pad protector from FD? You probably already have those...if not, better hit that Ramen!
the 996 Turbo twists are bit nicer than the 993 versions.. about the only thing I would changed. Otherwise.. Very nicely specced car though. At 50k miles.. this car is a pretty penny too.
Putting 15mm spacers on it is really going to mess with the OEM suspension geometry and wear out the bearings. You’re way better off getting a wider set of wheels if you want them to fill the fenders better.
Dear all fellow US friends of 993s. Please spend some money/time and get rid of these ugly bumpers. You can’t seriously look away and don’t be bothered by them. The whole world agrees that they’re so ugly and hurts everyones eyes. Do yourself a favor and make it your Christmas present 🎁 Cheers and enjoy these beauties
Buying a U.S. C4S from Germany, and bumpers were replaced to Euro. I love them! Don’t know how anyone feels about them. You are the first comment I see in support. I used to dislike seeing the black blocks in the front and rear bumper in my previous 993 C2.
I was blessed to jump to my forever car a 78 930 i have had her for 25 years and am still in love.Your 993 is amazing, thanks for the great vids.If you want check her out on Instagram @930vin
Great video, I just pulled the trigger on a 993 C4S and am looking for some subtle mods. Your car looks great, I'd leave it alone! Stock Porsche is best Porsche :)
Great choice. How could you modify perfection? 993 widebody is the best looking Porsche ever made. That is perfection. No ifs and buts.

Properly nice car and tasteful mods. Fair play to the previous owner too I like his touches

Ambers for the win. I went backwards with my car by taking off led taillights and licenseplate lights for oem look
yesss... period correct is everything
I like that your wheels, almost look color matched to the car. Thing about the Porsche is she really don't need to change it, because it can't look any better than it already does it

Good job
Great taste as always, awesome videos 👍🏼
I also subscribe to OEM+. I'm rocking a 2018 BMW M2 LCI - sunroof delete. Your car is very smooth and very tasteful. Good job.
Sick car man congrats on the pick up
thanks Casey
Beautiful 993 man, ive still got my turbo lotus and my 73 911 but i think the Lotus might have to go even though i love it. The 911 is the king
Face tattoo. Nice point! Because nowadays they just do whatever trending, hype going on.
Fine refinement.
Flawless spec

@Greyson Griffin Glad I could help :)

Now this is so tasteful, well done 😍
Love it...So clean...Can't wait for the next vid!

Nice Job on the Subtle Touches!
awesome car, almost perfect mods
Sweet, simple, clean. One of my dream cars. Enjoy man! ✊🏾
Love the car man, congrats
The 993 was a good choice. I don't even think you can lose money on these cars.
I wanted to hear the exhaust!!
What a beaut! One of the best examples of what I feel is the pinnacle of Porsche 911. So much tasteful Goldilocks detail:, Color matched seat backs! Inspired to load up on ramen and get me one of them. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome car and video ... Love OEM+ approach
I miss the exige but dang this is awesome too!
Mint, the most attractive and balanced package to this day I believe.
Damn hats off 100% agree with the build philosophies
Tastefully done!
Absolutely perfect
Thank you for the videos. Can you make a video how you purchased the Porsche and your driver’s experience?
Awesome amigo!!!
Great vids
Love it man, beautiful car!
Awesome!
Well done .
Well done with the amber lights. Lowering looks great. I am thinking about getting a 993 convertible...
This puppy screams “ make ruff out of me!” :)
Sweet ride man, I am going to get my black turbo soon.
The way those doors open and close are everything.
Dang! I want one.
What a beauty. But why would it have black brakes?
Great videos and amazing looking car! Just wondering, where did you pick up clear corners for the US bumper? Thanks!
…also, how does one get Montana plates? I may need that connect for my next car…
What a nice piece of machine you possessed there bro👍mind if you could let us know how much you spent for the complete car? I love to own one 🙏
Clears and paint the brakes for a color pop
Are you in California? I’ve got an RS America myself. You’ve got one of my dream 911s 😍

@@CornerBalanced Thanks for the reply. I love the car...
Everything is perfectly done on this car. Let me know if you EVER plan on selling!
Finally! Next vid possible POV?
I'm looking into making something cinematic
Love the vids. With all of the trash videos out there about cars, its always good to see quality content. Even though I loved the Lotus....:P
Just need a set of e88’s. That’s it. I promise!
Don’t tempt me with a good time
Beautiful car, looking forward to this series. Also thank you for not inking any “face tats” lol
Need a gimbal for that shake cam haha. Love the videos tho!

where did you upholster your steering wheel? I have the same problem as it is too thin. Cheers
Classic9Leather shop in Detroit, ask for Rod

you may want to consider rear fender air ducts
Next video: Saying good bye to my 1998 Porsche 911 Carrera S.
bro that hurts
I envy You soooo much.
I like Your approach., great car, great taste :)
Nothing to envy my friend

:)
Can you share the person / company that wrapped your steering wheel? Can they do say seats? Have an idea for my 993.
Classic9Leather Shop in Michigan, talk to Rod
Nice car, im also thinking to change the front light to the turbo s ducts… can you tell me have the ducts a function? I mean aero or cooling function for the breaks?
What’s next? Can’t stop at 1 car lol
Maybe something cheap and ignorant to mess around with and scratch that itch
Really nice build! Are the front tires really 235/ 40 /18 or 225/ 40/ 18?
Oem+ spec!! Only thing I might add are ruf wheels. Twists are nice tho... how many miles does this example have??
Perfect..

What a beauty...May i ask how much you got it for? Prices has gone through the roof as of late.... cheers!
Beautifully done! Congrats. Let me know if you consider selling ☺
Can you tell me the size wheels you have on the car in particular the front wheels since the OE size of tires is 225 and you put on 235's. Thanks
Sooooo. When’s it for sale.
Anytime
what camera do you use?
Canon EOS-R
Im guessing from here on out there will be no more content on this channel lol
False

Are the S model the widebody variant only?
In the 993 series yes. 1997 & 1998 Carrera S = wide body with additional interior trim giveaways..
At that ride height, you'll want to get a bump steer kit
oh never mind, you did get them!
Beautiful car but why have all the 911’s with those wheels all have left sided wheels if you look closely ? 🤔
Beautifully done! Congrats. Let me know if you consider selling :-)
you can get "warm " interior leds no probs
So, does this mean, there will be no more car building content since technically you’re done
Doesn't mean this will be the only car
@@CornerBalanced that just brightened up my day
