Hello All, Because many of you asked me to change the format of the Rudranath trek video to make it more TV and mobile devices friendly, I am uploading a 16:9 aspect ratio version of the same video. However, I still think that the "3:2" is a better format if seen on a bigger TV for the extra details we see in it. Therefore, I will keep that version available too so one could see the difference, should they wish to. This message is to clarify in case you start wondering why did i uploaded the same content again. Content is the same but the aspect ratio is different.
Hey Chandan. No matter how many times you upload the same video or I watch any video of your trip to Himalayas, it is the same level of excitement and enjoyment I had when I watched it first. And yes, please convey my greetings to Vijay. He is so cool. Someone said it right, we all need a Vijay in our lives, especially if we love trekking😊. Wish you both all the best!

Been a fan of your work since 2016 sir. My first video was tungnath chandrashila trek which inspired me to do the yatra at 20. Always look forward to watching your videos. Thank you for helping me heal at that time. I never looked back in my life since I did Tungnath.
Dear Chandan Sir, I have to inform you that you are the inspiration for my tours to Uttarakhand for 2 times. One for Chopta/Deoria lake and second one for Munsiyari. Your calm and laid back videos are so different from today's insta reel type 30 second videos. Keep it up Sir...following your videos since 2015. Abinash Odisha
Hi Sir Recently Found Your Channel While Surrfing on you Your Tube and I may say all i watch a lot of vlogs on you tube but you are the one who i find the best some people nowadays calling themselves vloggers on internet without providing a good content but you are doing it since 12 years and the way you share your feelings your video quality and sound selection while representing representing Indian Culture. To Me You are the best vloggers according to my opening.
Before ending tell something about closing of the current vlog. Also at begning or at the end guide how to go there from say Delhi or chamba or similar place, so that visit could be planned by a person who wants to go. Excellent journey and willpower to make such journeys continously.
I'm a new subscriber of yours. I'm a central gov official and interested into travel vlogs. I also want to create a travel vlog channel just to record memories and moments. I am very impressed with your style of recording, editing and voice over. In todays fast paced world, it's very important to slow down to enjoy special moment. I would like to know some details about your vlog preparation like which camera and lens you use, which application you use to edit vlogs and voiceover. It will be very helpful as i have little information about these stuff as I'm a beginner. Thanks in advance.
mayne tumhara bohut sare blog dekhchuka hun like or comment vi kiya tha ,anyway bohut din bad tumhara rudranath ka blog dekha bohut achha laga yeya keya tumhara paheli rudranath trek carry on beta
Many thanks Ji. Sorry in case main jawab nahi de paya aapkey puraney messages ko. Koshish poori rahti hai per kuchh comments chhot hi jaatey hain. Oomeed hai aagey bhi aap dekhengey aur apna feedback share karengey.
Hobey Na Dada :-) . No plan. I do many treks but dont make videos for all for shortage of time. Abhi no plan to make Kuari Trek video. Most likely next video will be Roop Kund.
Thats a good question. Dont reallly know the answer. May be because of a flatter landscape, water is retained for longer compared to surrounding areas with higher slope. But that's only my best guess.
Hi Chandan, thanks for the videos. A few logistics questions: why would you carry two camera bodies on the trek and complicate things - if you already have full-frame S5, why carry a micro 4/3rds body? also, how many batteries do you carry during a trek - how do you charge them on the way? Last, how do you keep camera safe from condensation etc. inside the tent - do you keep it outside at night?
@tradomeg2502 hi, the question should be flipped. You should ask when I have a M43 body, then why to carry S5. A1. Quality of M43 is almost as good as what we get out of a full frame. There is a theoretical difference in low light, but in practice, that difference is not noticeable if someone knows how to use their camera. At all other times, M43 is as good as a full frame body. Also, M43 is much lighter when you add a lens compared to fulll frame that gets really heavy. A2. Carrying two cameras as one could malfunction in such challenging terrains. Plus you also get a chance to mix both of them. So if you can afford it, then get a lumix G9M2 or a GH7 ,with a 14 to 140 lens, and you won't need anything else to make a super quality videos. Its a fallacy that a bigger sensor cameras result in s quality video ourput. Remember, blackmagic cameras use M43 sensor. Note: It's your creativity and content that makes good videos. You can shoot a good video even with your mobile phone canera. Hope that helps.
@@chandanprakash2002 Thanks, agree with everything you have said, and I wasn't implying one is better than the other. What about the batteries question though - do you carry 5-6 extra? - and the condensation/keeping camera safe inside the tent question? Also on a different note I would love to see some more night shots in your videos in the future if you're carrying the full frame camera - like twinkling lights in the distance or the campsite fire/kitchen site - not many do this as most cameras aren't capable but if your'e carrying one might as well put to good use. Have a good day!
you mean Videos as I dont shoot a lot of photos. I keep changing my gears. This video was shot using Lumix S5 and Lumix G9. All videos until Sagar village just before we started trekking was shot using G9.
