Facebook Live: Addressing Energy Access in sub-Saharan Africa with Coordinator, Richard Nelson.

The Africa Regional Media Hub featured Richard Nelson, the new Coordinator of Power Africa, who outlined the program's activities on the continent. Nelson described how Power Africa plans to add more than 30,000 megawatts and 60 million new connections to Africa's electricity grid by 2030. Questions included Power Africa's goals for benefitting women, girls, and rural areas; attracting private sector investment; and reforming existing power utilities.
