At some point (not now. maybe later), William and Harry need to sit down and have a SERIOUS talk with their Grandmother and their Father. They started the "ball rolling" by setting up Diana with Charles. Everyone was in on the "joke" but her. I can't imagine what she must have been going through. R.I.P. If the queen had allowed Prince Charles to marry Camilla in the first place none of this would have happened ( likewise with Princess Margaret ) - she's HAD to change - she's learnt that interfering ends up causing so much pain for generations to come. Sad though, that in Diana's death there's a lesson. But Diana had a purpose - to teach people to make this world a kinder, better place. RIP.

Princess Diana was like a doe trying to escape the headlights that were blinding but in the end she was struck down. People who should have protected her deceived her and betrayed her trust.
@@jadrankaprobert7496 She was not a helpless child, she was what - a 36 yr old married woman who had experienced a very public life and who had in addition had several lovers. If she wanted refuge, she could have chosen any one of a million solitary places in the world - she was rich - and had travelled widely. The story that she looked for "refuge" is a bit of a joke, given that she deliberately organised that interview which went global, as she wanted it to.

What you mean? Diana went against his, her family and friends who were on the know advice to not do the interview. She wanted her revenge. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. So why Diana made that decision and brought all that upon herself. And you turn against her brother? Why didn't you get all incredulous for the people who lost their jobs and reputation, all caused by Diana.

Like we forgot that he betrayed her at the end. He literally rejected her request to come back to their childhood home because he thought she would draw too much attention. Just sick. He has no business pretending like he was ever concerned for her safety. They weren't on speaking terms when she died.

Same here for me... I respect what she had done to bring so much awareness to many causes. However, I don't believe that she was all naive and innocent and easy target. Vulnerable yes, but who isn't? The fact is she rejected the official protection services believing that they were keeping tabs on her for the RF or MI5, information provided to her by Bashir. I really frown at her to be believing an outsider - a reporter no less - than her own family and in-laws. Very bad judgement, and one of her son is following in her footsteps.

She was 19, and too immature for marriage, much less marriage into the RF. She also had mental issues, with her bulimia and self-harm. She probably expected too much from Charles, they had nothing in common, and she had nothing to give. If she had been patient, and given herself time to grow, she would have shown that she did have something to offer. She was very charismatic, and good with people, and she was the mother of a future king. Instead she began to fight publicly with her husband, with the RF, and what good did it achieve? It seems all she wanted was revenge.
They just wanted a hire and a spare,when the job was done they had no use for her,because Camila was always there.
