This is good. But another method would be to download the CPU version on the phone then connect the phone to the CPU (vis USB) and transfer it on there then install it. I did it with several things.
When I open the Chrome Application file to my other computer, and select the file it has an error message that reads: \Chrome\Application\chrome.exe is not a valid Win32 application. The actual google icon didn't copy over. It looks like a window icon. What do I need to do?
That is a great idea. Unfortunately the computer that I have with a working Google Chrome on is a 64 bit, and the one that does not have Google Chrome is a 32 bit. So when I tried this on the older one it said that this Google Chrome version is not compatible with the operating system. But I do thank you. If it weren't for this problem it would have worked.
The USB from the other PC won't work then my dad went:its because you installed windows ISO then he literally ignores that Windows 10 is free to download in the website
@Shaiq Karim you need another computer which has chrome, we'll name it "Computer #1", now on your Computer #1 go to Program Files (x86) search "Google" after that on the google folder search "Chrome" and copy that folder, then plug an Hard Drive USB on the Computer #1 and paste it there, then unplug that from Computer #1 and then plug it to the computer that doesn't have Chrome, we'll name it "Computer #2" now when you plug it into the Computer #2, then go to "Google" Folder, then search for "Chrome" Folder and then paste it on your desktop like he did, open "Chrome" Folder in your desktop and click on the "Application" folder, then search for "chrome.exe" file and click on it, and KABOOM! you have chrome on your computer #2 now!
Fantastic / easy solution that I came upon when IE11 wouldn't stay stable enough to download Chrome. The only thing that this process does not allow me to do is set Chrome as the default browser. But, by turning off IE11, & clicking the "Don't Ask Me Again" option that was popping up each time I started Chrome, as to making it the default browser, all's well!
