Wilma from the Netherlands again ..I identify. I had a Citroen Berlingo, 2010. TomTom stuck to windscreen (travel from here to Devon UK annually with it, teacher of English (ex) and British friends... and here is the new big screen... catch up indeed... being 67 I just want to stay up-to-date and love the gadgets too... Fantastic .... by the way..the coulple in the other car were hilarious and distracting, so I watched twice hahahahha

Wireless iPhone charging tends to make the phone hot & is not good for the battery so I prefer a wired connection

I have tried Android Auto on several cars but have never liked it. I will stick to plugging my phone in and listening to your podcasts.

It's hilarious how Audi or BMW, can't remember which, wants to charge you a monthly subscription to use Apple CarPlay. Talk about rinsing the customer.

Wireless connectivity for android auto is still quirky. Frequently either the phone apps update or the car software itself updates and the connectivity stops working until another patch or update is sent through. Seen this at least 3 times in 15 months on a 2023 Yaris Cross (Premiere Edition for EU)

I had noticed that Android Auto is somewhat sub-par compared to Apple CarPlay. Still both do the job. I haven't had any disconnects yet on my Surface Duo into the car. Then again, I'm 80% using the iPhone here.

Assistants are still not as good as WP cortana imo - for replying to messages especially
