This preacher is a genuine Christian; He does not mince words, he tells what it truly is the Biblical truth - that all men are sinners and deserve to go to hell, but God in his love send His Son Jesus Christ who suffered, died,and resurrected and earned for us salvation that whoever believes in HIM will not perish but have eternal life. This preacher is a loving man, he preaches the gospel so that men will hear the gospel call. He is not an "angry;" he is straightforward in preaching the true gospel if you truly and properly understand his message.
All this talk about the falling away lately I set out last month and visited (4) BAPTIST churches in southern California. All 4 recommended the NIV and the messages were watered down Jesus loves you and everything is wonderful. No thought provoking soul searching bible truths. (1) of the four don't believe in a alter call at the end of service. This congregation is blessed beyond measure to have this man leading them. Keep the videos coming. Thanks
It's not JUST Baptist churches. I hear error from all denominations and it's becoming more and more common. There is a WORD famine in the land just as the Old and New Testament predicted

Not to sound stupid, but seriously, I kind of had some ulterior motive. I worship Christ, and learn about God, and the better, smarter, more confident I would be. Because Christ came to bring life more abundant, correct? Well I realized that the more you know and have of Christ, the less you are. Like John the Baptist said that he must diminish as Christ grows greater. The more we know of Christ, the more we pour ourselves out to him. The more we give our lives to him. Until we are utterly consumed by worshiping and knowing Christ. There is no more "me" or "I" in your life. Only words out of your mouth that begin with "Christ" or "God" and end with "Amen." It was a little scary at first to admit and realize that I was a 'wretch,' but you know there is only one who can make your life make sense and give it purpose and joy; Jesus Christ.
Even the term "born again" many so called Christians don't know the meaning of that neither... Born again with their lips... That's biblical born again: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. -2 Corinthians 5:17

Hell is supra real but in our man centric age this is a truth that will not be tolerated by liberal christianity! A lot of people Say they believe in God but that is different than accepting Christ and what he did on the cross and having a personal relationship with Christ and Christ said that you can tell one by their fruits, if they live like the world and take up everything the world puts out Knowing it is wrong then I do not believe they are saved. 2nd or 3rd message I've heard from this excellent preacher and I want a lot more! Preach it brother! Where the present generation of Christian believers is spiritually today can be seen in the median age of worshipers in this congregation (receiving sound doctrine), it appears to be well over 50.
There is a Hindu saying: "There is no Yoga without Hinduism and no Hinduism without Yoga." In short, eastern mystical religious practices (such as yoga, meditation, etc.) can never be Christianized. If so, we may as well Christianize the swastika or pentagram. As God's Holy Word clearly warns, "No one can serve two masters", "We cannot partake of the table of demons & the table of the Lord", "What communion hath light with darkness?" From extensive personal experience of decades emmersed in the hippiedom of the neo-pagan, new-age, human-potential movement, I can attest that Pastor Lawson is dead on the money here, and that the rising "Emergent Church" (or more accurately "Submerging Church") is without doubt "Departing from the faith, giving heed to seducing sprits and doctrines of devils" (1 Timothy 4:1) right before our very eyes, leading undiscerning souls down a rapidly and increasingly broadening road labeled "narrow" illuminated with false light (2 Corinthians 11:14) where counterfeits are mistaken as genuine, but are in fact what scripture warns clearly as "Another Jesus", "Another Spirit " & "Another Gospel" that is anxiously reforming and redefining 2000+ years of time-tested "Old Rugged Cross" Christianity, arrogantly trading in the simplicity of Christ for a culturally-relevant, itching-ears, feel-good, experiential "New Gospel" that is being welcomingly imparted like wildfire. However, being the same old old Genesis 3 snake oil trick ("Hath God said?/Ye can become as God") cleverly repackaged, there is nothing "new" about it. Anything "new" should be a red light (New Age, New World Order, New Apostolic Reformation (NAR), etc.). This is far from paranoia or speculation, but is in fact a biblically prophesied reality and counterfeit slippery spirit that kicks, screams, and hisses, often through the crafty subtley of words and misapplication of scipture that oftentimes works through undiscerning souls professing the name of Christ, slithering it's way into the House of God, calling it's self "Christ", but in fact being a diabolical serpentine Kundalini spirit of anti-Christ snaking it's way into the contemplative and "open minded" liberal, emergent, charismatic, culturallly relevant, politically correct sects of post modern, pseudo Christianity. Remember, Pharaoh counterfeited the serpent of Moses & Aaron's staff. A strong delusion indeed. I will pray that the LORD our GOD will bring unto you those who are wise in the faith, I was part of this movement, along time ago, However Praise be to God that he enabled me to discern this and get away from it before it was to late. I am thankful now he has lead me to a quiet baptist church, where i am seeing a true move of the Holy Spirit. :) He will enable his servant seek him always
John MacArthur has often said there are basically two religions in the world. Despite all the different cultures and rituals around the world, a person either worships and submits to the Lord Jesus Christ, or that person worships and exalts themselves. Sure, they may say they worship the Lord, but every single phrase out of their mouth begins with "I" and ends with "me." It's a hard reality to accept that we are nothing but dung, and God is the perfection and righteousness that we are to pursue with all of our heart and soul. The religion of the self puts your ego into overdrive. With me, it seemed natural, to always think of what I want to do, what I can achieve, how things impact me, etc. WRONG. Every thought, word, and gesture should reflect on God. You do that, and you will realize your own salvation.
I like listening to this preacher and that is because I am a follower of Christ 100%, but I am still looking into which is the true church of Christ and I think he may have helped me along this course that I have set for myself.

Sometimes I think that when you are born again you still go on trigger points from your past. If you had a good one then its good but if you had a terrifying one you struggle very much so. It hurts when someone from a good past kinda looks down on you, (not sayin anyone here is) you get enev thrown more , cause now their messing with your soul, your spirit, and its getting mixed up with the terror you heard as a youth . To have been hated and treated badly in youth, NOW born again yes God so loved and yes yes to be saved Wow. Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Although sometimes a mixed up past makes you really test the spirits and the only real truth is in Gods word anyways. I appreciate pastors like this and Charles Spurgeons and Zac Poomen. I really don't know if this next comment is from my past or is just me but a long time ago I said to a friend I wish someone would hook me up to a lie detector and ask me if I believe that Jesus Christ is my Savior and am I savied. Althrough my pain I have searched and searched and cryed and begged Jesus God help me to know. Silly as though it seems but it has been along road. I am so curious & still looking for answers. What is happening in our churches? We had to walk away from our church when I noticed less & less of Christ & more of the pastor’s personal life being spoken from the pulpit. And what is going on with not mentioning the name of Jesus on Easter? And turning out all the lights, cranking up the music so you can’t hear the voices of our brothers & sisters? Anybody else notice? It’s been 12 years & we are still without a home church.

This video cracks me up and makes me happy to now identify with the Emerging Church. I hate the “I’m right” kind of attitude that fundamentalists and most Evangelicals have. And most of them have blind faith too. And thinking that the KJV is the best English translation? Really?

It is sad to see so many putting their faith and trust in a repackaged Christ especially this late in the game! People are taking emphasis off of the doctrines of scripture and replacing them with a feel good reletivistic false gospel that perpetuates ideas that nothing is absolute. Mysticism is celebrated along with emotional experiences. True doctrine is cast aside and focus is placed on world evangelism, community, building relationships all of which cannot be properly built without the foundation of the word of god! There is only one son of god jesus christ. There is no amalagram of Jesus's that fits holistically into every religous view only jesus christ the son of the living god. Take heed that no man decieve you! Jesus is comming to rapture his church out of here! You think you can survive the wrath of god? Surrender your heart to jesus christ and believe in him and be saved!

From extensive personal experience of decades emmersed in the hippiedom of the neo-pagan, new-age, human-potential movement, I can attest that Pastor Lawson is dead on the money here, and that the rising "Emergent Church" (or more accurately "Submerging Church") is without doubt "Departing from the faith, giving heed to seducing sprits and doctrines of devils" (1 Timothy 4:1) right before our very eyes, leading undiscerning souls down a rapidly and increasingly broadening road labeled "narrow" illuminated with false light (2 Corinthians 11:14) where counterfeits are mistaken as genuine, but are in fact what scripture warns clearly as "Another Jesus", "Another Spirit " & "Another Gospel" that is anxiously reforming and redefining 2000+ years of time-tested "Old Rugged Cross" Christianity, arrogantly trading in the simplicity of Christ for a culturally-relevant, itching-ears, feel-good, experiential "New Gospel" that is being welcomingly imparted like wildfire.
However, being the same old old Genesis 3 snake oil trick ("Hath God said?/Ye can become as God") cleverly repackaged, there is nothing "new" about it. Anything "new" should be a red light (New Age, New World Order, New Apostolic Reformation (NAR), etc.). This is far from paranoia or speculation, but is in fact a biblically prophesied reality and counterfeit slippery spirit that kicks, screams, and hisses, often through the crafty subtley of words and misapplication of scipture that oftentimes works through undiscerning souls professing the name of Christ, slithering it's way into the House of God, calling it's self "Christ", but in fact being a diabolical serpentine Kundalini spirit of anti-Christ snaking it's way into the contemplative and "open minded" liberal, emergent, charismatic, culturallly relevant, politically correct sects of post modern, pseudo Christianity. Remember, Pharaoh counterfeited the serpent of Moses & Aaron's staff. A strong delusion indeed.

John MacArthur has often said there are basically two religions in the world. Despite all the different cultures and rituals around the world, a person either worships and submits to the Lord Jesus Christ, or that person worships and exalts themselves. Sure, they may say they worship the Lord, but every single phrase out of their mouth begins with "I" and ends with "me." It's a hard reality to accept that we are nothing but dung, and God is the perfection and righteousness that we are to pursue with all of our heart and soul. The religion of the self puts your ego into overdrive. With me, it seemed natural, to always think of what I want to do, what I can achieve, how things impact me, etc. WRONG. Every thought, word, and gesture should reflect on God. You do that, and you will realize your own salvation.
I like listening to this preacher and that is because I am a follower of Christ 100%, but I am still looking into which is the true church of Christ and I think he may have helped me along this course that I have set for myself.

Sometimes I think that when you are born again you still go on trigger points from your past. If you had a good one then its good but if you had a terrifying one you struggle very much so. It hurts when someone from a good past kinda looks down on you, (not sayin anyone here is) you get enev thrown more , cause now their messing with your soul, your spirit, and its getting mixed up with the terror you heard as a youth . To have been hated and treated badly in youth, NOW born again yes God so loved and yes yes to be saved Wow. Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Although sometimes a mixed up past makes you really test the spirits and the only real truth is in Gods word anyways. I appreciate pastors like this and Charles Spurgeons and Zac Poomen. I really don't know if this next comment is from my past or is just me but a long time ago I said to a friend I wish someone would hook me up to a lie detector and ask me if I believe that Jesus Christ is my Savior and am I savied. Althrough my pain I have searched and searched and cryed and begged Jesus God help me to know. Silly as though it seems but it has been along road. I am so curious & still looking for answers. What is happening in our churches? We had to walk away from our church when I noticed less & less of Christ & more of the pastor’s personal life being spoken from the pulpit. And what is going on with not mentioning the name of Jesus on Easter? And turning out all the lights, cranking up the music so you can’t hear the voices of our brothers & sisters? Anybody else notice? It’s been 12 years & we are still without a home church.

I just realized how liturgical the Catholic Church is.
Liturgy literally means 'the work of the people' and in the church it means God's work in Christ and his work on us and our work of worship. It's not candles and bells and whistles & such. 😆 The word is meant to describe ordered worship and if you have a pattern of any kind, you're 'liturgical'

It is sad to see so many putting their faith and trust in a repackaged Christ especially this late in the game! People are taking emphasis off of the doctrines of scripture and replacing them with a feel good reletivistic false gospel that perpetuates ideas that nothing is absolute. Mysticism is celebrated along with emotional experiences. True doctrine is cast aside and focus is placed on world evangelism, community, building relationships all of which cannot be properly built without the foundation of the word of god! There is only one son of god jesus christ. There is no amalagram of Jesus's that fits holistically into every religous view only jesus christ the son of the living god. Take heed that no man decieve you! Jesus is comming to rapture his church out of here! You think you can survive the wrath of god? Surrender your heart to jesus christ and believe in him and be saved!
