I really like the questions you asked, but some of them were difficult to answer. For example, getting the silent treatment versus getting yelled at are both pretty rough. It's easier for me to choose when it's between two good options, such as a homemade meal versus dinner at a fancy restaurant. I would pick the homemade meal because there's something so wholesome about homemade food and it would be a much less formal setting.
