I guess the dehorning also helps so they don’t kill each other as easily as with horns. But they are surely just as awesome!

We dehorn all of them so it levels the playing field. But yes, you are right - if they both had full horns then the smaller one might be dead now.

The adult white rhino fight was so crazy. I could "feel" the strength of those 2 animals. What a sight to behold, thanks for posting that.
Also love that the hyenas are getting a taste of their own medicine, being harassed by the vultures as they're trying to feed. 😂
    Again, thank you! 😊

The reason for de-horning is so that a Park Services hope that this would save the rhino from being slaughtered as they are now no value to the poachers. The rhino will in a few years grow back its horn.

Good afternoon, MM. That rhino fight could turn serious if they get at each other non stop. I know they're vulnerable giants as well, but their species need to be saved a lot more. I don't know, but if the 2 bulls weigh the same as each other, then it'll be difficult to be sure which one is or will be the winner of the scrap. Won't it? It looks like the one behind, was telling his rival to go away.
It was a bit hard to tell, but was it a buffalo that those hyenas were feeding on in the next half of the clip? If so, I wouldn't have thought for a minute that they would have taken it down themselves, so I would think it will have been the work of a lion pride. But either the lions were too full to finish it of, or they were chased and pushed of the kill by those greedy, naughty, and annoying hyenas during the evening.
I know hyenas are one of the five predators of Africa, but I wouldn't class then as my real favourite, though. Especially as they're known to push other predators of the kills the cats and dogs have made and steal it for themselves, which there is no doubt really upsets and hacks the other predators of. But despite those upsets, the cats and dogs can always hunt again to make another kill to feed themselves and their fast growing young. I have also read it before that hyenas are known to treat male lions with a great deal more respect than they do the lionesses. I suppose it's because the male lions gave got those very big, thick, and intimidating manes to keep other predators away.
Were those hyenas chased of the kill they were feeding on, or did they manage to keep it to themselves successfully? I may well have to watch the clip again to see if I missed anything else out I didn't see. If I had known how long the clip was, then I might have watched the whole thing before bringing the whole comment section up quickly.
Hope to hear from you shortly.
