A parts list and where to buy the stuff you used would be extremely helpful and awesome. Like a amazon link in the description. Just sayin. The old Forsberg would do it.
No sure what you mean by the old Forsberg would do it? These videos give more of an in depth look at what I use on my cars and I have not made anything like this before. I know I do not take the time to find the direct link to every part but they are self explanatory if you were go to any of the companies website and purchase.
Chris Forsberg not trying to put down what you are doing. Saying the old you would is a joke, have you never heard that saying before? Just thought for this specific video it would have been sweet to check the description to see where that radiator was from etc. you keep doing your thing, I just wanted to give an opinion, thought it might be helpful. Was not trying to put anything down, just love.
there is one little detail i do not understand. when looking at my radiator, the web does also have vertical passages not only horizontal. is it different for the radiator here in the video? but if it is the same situation, how do plates welded into the side sections of the radiator prevent the water from crossing vertically within the cooling web?
Most of them are this way... You can leave it in and coolant will flow around it like normal... but since we were chopping it up for a triple pass we had to remove it.
So speaking of coolers... In the FD world, do you use say a cooler for you sequentials or your diffs? I know, like you said, rad's are very important but so are steering coolers, from what I understand about FD. So I guess I'm asking how far do you go to keep everything cool?
Soooooooooooooooooo why not just buy a radiator that already does what u want and not destroy this one for 90% flow and 10% leaking like u mentioned???????????
Awesome. Would have never thought of that or be brave enough to cut up a brand new Radiator. :D. Looking forward to the next episode
So Good! Loving this series
I have that same cordless drill and switching over to lithium batteries was a game changer
Hey Forsberg I like your imagination , Loving the Vlog
Very nice Chris way to make something good great
Love the series 👌🤘

Awesome series guys. But you guys need to get a root-broach set to make them a lot cleaner. 👍🏻👍🏻🤘🏼🤘🏼
We have a set but not big enough! I have to order some bigger sizes!
Soooooo two questions. 1: why do you use two different sized AN lines for the inlet/outlet? And 2: why is triple pass better?

"I'AM A BOOONANAAAAA" fuck dylan got me on the floor, the by's know how to have a good time.
watching it at 2x speed they're like the minions anyway
Wouldn't cutting oil, or any lubrication, have helped with the hole saw?
Yes it would... I thought it would chew through it quicker... we used oil on the second hole.
Still great content dude! keep killing it!
Safety third! LOL Totally building one of these for my Crawler.
So the trans coolers just sit in the end tank? I always thought there was a portion of the rad fins that was the cooler... #Themoreyouknow
Most of them are this way... You can leave it in and coolant will flow around it like normal... but since we were chopping it up for a triple pass we had to remove it.
So their just a "heatsink" that sits in the tank. Now I see why auto guys will switch to a external finned design.
Yessir, it is best to have an independent cooler for the transmission.

So what's the piece that they cut out of the return side tank?
It was a cooler for if you run an automatic transmission.
oh...hmm. I wonder how efficient those really are and how much it effects the temperature of the coolant returning to the engine.
It would increase the water temp a little bit... it is best to run it separately.
what is the radiator part number
what you using for film set up ? gopro w/ stabilzer ?
Yessir, just upgraded to a Hero6 with a Karma Grip.
looking good so far , should grab that old gray haired fox sam and put him to work lol, best of luck this up coming season gold leader
Thank you!
*whistle noise* and the *whistle noise*
Wouldn't it have been easier to just have Mishimoto send you a core and just build it to your specs from there?
Potentially but this is pretty quick and easy!
You're missing a second plate on the inlet side. You just made a dual pass.
We did two plates... the video just doesn't show it... we did not have the camera rolling for that part.
How good?
Good Enough!
why not quad pass?! jk. great video
Tape's just like a condom, they work better the second and third time around. Ask my 3 kids.....

There are some engineering issues long term with this conversion but whatever...and don’t knick or arc off a tube or it’s all trash.
FLEX TAPE✋. Jk✌️
