If, for example, two creatures with an impostor counter are destroyed at the same time because of a sweeper or because they die in combat, you can reanimate one of them with the other before it's exiled. So this makes masquerade an interesting card against both control and aggro, even without the reanimation engine. It's something I didn't think about, surprisingly versatile card. Also, multiple copies on the board reanimate more creatures, so it even generates value over time

You need to put a lot of selfmill in the deck too so you actually have creatures in GY for value its awkward
But idk maybe good with Insidious Roots also

Being able to flash is it was breaks the card. Right after declaring blockers or in response to a board wipe, flash it in, return multiple different big boys in... Crazy
