Great review ! The version from ASUS website is $1,999 for the 4060, but it also comes with the Asus pen included ($100 value) and a backpack. So the cost to jump to the 4060 is less than we might think if you factor in the pen and backpack. I've had the laptop for about a week and it is absolutely incredible. This is definitely a unique laptop. To get this kind of power in such a small form factor, with good thermals, is quite an accomplishment. Factor in premium build quality, keyboard, and an excellent oled display, you have a winner. Sure, it should have a full sized sd card slot and be at least 90 htz, but a laptop like this would not be able to exist a couple of years ago. It's a 13-inch Mac Book Air with MacBook Pro power. Remember what the Dell XPS 13 were with Intel chips a hot mess with much lower performance. A laptop is not just a spec list. Now on to the P16.
This is one of the first in a whole new generation of laptops. A few years ago the ‘14inch gaming laptop’ that had a powerful CPU & a dedicated GPU and didn’t throttle too badly was considered miraculous. This is a considerable progression from those laptops. Folks moaning about the 60hz screen etc need to hold their horses. There are plenty more awesome laptops coming down the line with Zen 5 parts that will meet every requirement. And there’s half a chance Lunar Lake will be great for low power thin and light ultrabooks too. 2025 will be a great time to buy a new laptop! 😃

This is the laptop review I was waiting for since it was announced. And it's more than I expected.
Got it about a week with 4060. +++ Performance: Much faster than my 5-month-old Spectre 14" (2024). Keyboard: Love the typing experience. - - - Battery life: Disappointing, only 4-5 hours, even with the dGPU off. RUclips drains 20-30% per hour. Trackpad: No haptic feedback, difficult to click. Clickable area limited at the bottom due to dial pad. Speakers: Average sound quality. Dial pad: Useless for me as a web designer. Would prefer touch controls for brightness and volume. No pen holder: Missing magnetic side for the pen, unlike the Spectre x360 14".
@@ye_mother Spectre 14” is great for daily apps, but sometimes it lags when I’m using Photoshop and Illustrator. I would pick PX13 for the much faster CPU, GPU. The only problem annoying me is its poor battery life of the PX13.
@ye_mother idk, your decision has to be made based on how much portability you need, how much performance you need, what screen size you like, how much (and what kind of) performance you need ecs. If you don't need a gpu get the spectre or something
@@ye_mother One thing to consider is the value. In the past couple of months, the Spectre was dropped twice from $1,629 down to only $999 for the 16gb 1T model and down to $1,399 for the 32gb 2T model. I imagine they will do it again. If you can catch it for that price, that's an incredible value imo.
How in the world is this "one of the best laptops ever" when it has a 60hz panel, mediocre battery life, a mechanical touchpad, costs 2 grand, and is made by Asus?
size and weight , performance closes to macbook till now. Battery is low mainly due to likely less capacity and strong cpu and gpu and touch screen (drains lots of battery). It costs 1700 usd If Im not wrong. Engineering peak but lots of compromises. But I agree prolly not the best , but this laptop feels like gamma testing for the G series. Also needs firmware update for sure.
Asus makes great laptops tho? What are you on about? Battery life is literally the best by far on any windows laptop with that performance. The display is for creators (should've been a different option with high refresh rate tho) but same laptop with a high refresh rate display is available with the Zephyrus lineup
This one really feels like Asus finally realizing they should probably have a non-gamer version of the Flow X13. You should really do a comparison, since that laptop supposedly gets better battery life while being limited to a previous-gen Zen 4 processor. It also seems to have all the same features sans the OLED display, instead boasting a 165 Hz refresh rate. I guess the top SKU did also launch at 2700 USD...
120 as minimum should be base line now, it's annoying to see someone with a laptop next to you that you know that cost like $700-$500 less but looks smother just because it has a higher refresh rate screen, or even looking at your previous laptop.
I don't think professionals would compare their devices like that. Especially when their stuff could render things hours faster than smoother 120Hz. Sustained performance on AAA games only around 50-60 fps anyway (except you are playing competitive FPS).
I watched the entire video waiting the Linux support section, spoilers I didn’t came out, come one guys it adds 2 minutes max yet it’s so important for us, you could easily win our hearts with Linux testing next time
I'm not super knowledgeable about Linux, but I tried Fedora and Ubuntu on my Best Buy Nvidia 4050 PX13. Everything seemed to work except for the Mediatek Bluetooth hardware.
That crappy display *instantly* kicks itself off of the purchase list. A 380 nit display has absolutely NO BUSINESS being on a $2,000 "creator" machine. Considering that us creators interface with a laptop primarily through our EYES it makes no sense spending our money on a thing with such a poor interface, OLED or not.
@vzx13 it's a **mobile laptop** that will be used in various lighting situations ranging from bright to dim. It's not an accident that MacBook Pros with bright displays are highly preferred by creators. Bright displays give you options depending on the exterior lighting situation you find yourself in. Dim displays don't. With dim displays like this one you either try and find a darker place to move to or you simply can't work effectively.
I apologize if misspelling her name, if I am, but I just felt compelled to mention that Sierra (or Ciera, Cierra?) seems to have made a leap already between this video and the most recent one in which she was featured. Almost any small critique i had in the prior video has been erased. Seriously go listen to the previous video, where her voice trailed off a little at the end of each sentence and she went a bit too fast through benchmark numbers. In this one she eliminated any such issues and went from an 8.5 out of 10 in the last to 9.5 out of 10 in this one. Specifically with respect to this machine, the lack of 120hz is such a significant negative factor. Anyone buying this machine is probably planning to hold onto it for three or more years, and that is such a critical feature to not have in an expensive laptop for that period of time. I would have been disappointed with 90hz, but 60 feels unacceptable, IMHO. Thanks for another outstanding video, Josh and team.
Im more interested in the g16 with the ryzen ai CPUs, hope those will get better battery life and considering the battery life of the Zenbook S16 rivaling the MBP i think the g16 will also do well.
In what world does the S16 rival MBP battery life you 🤡🤡??!! M3pro idles at 0.05-0.2w This garbage idles at 3-4w. Get real windows sheep🤡🤡 Also macbook much faster CPU!
Thanks for the video!! I hoped you would dive deeper into Linux support, though, as you mentioned it in the introduction... Is the team planning to release an article on it, by any chance? Considering buying the laptop, just not sure about the Mediatek driver support on Linux and don't want to get a usb wifi adapter...
I'm not super knowledgeable about Linux, but I tried Fedora and Ubuntu on my Best Buy Nvidia 4050 PX13. Everything seemed to work except for the Mediatek Bluetooth hardware.
It is made for creativity If you are looking for a gaming one you should choose otherwise. But still you can play on this screen or just connect it to a bigger screen with a higher refresh-rates.
Great review! I got the Best Buy model with the Nvidia 4050, and I think it's awesome. I'm a tech addict, so I also have a base model Surface Pro 11 with Snapdragon X Plus. 🤓 I don't do anything that requires serious GPU performance regularly, so if not for the ARM compatibility issues, I'd pick the Surface if I could only have one device, but the PX13 is pretty close. Zen 5 is definitely the most efficient x86 yet.
I own a ROG Flow X13, and I mainly use it for creative work. This laptop would be a blessing, if it wouldn't cost 2 times as much... No SD card reader, and the 60hz screen is also big ouf for the price. I will stick to my old laptop at this point.
Josh, I showed my wife the PX 13, and she loved it. However, when I went to order the 4060 model, your link wouldn't work. Just worked for 4050 model. Sorry I couldn't help out. She returned her Galaxy Edge. She loved the idea of extra power and ram as well as portability.
Thanks for reviewing this! How high of a charging rate can you charge this laptop on generic USB-C chargers and cables? I ask because I tried buying another ASUS laptop (the Flow X13) and even according to the marketing materials you couldn’t charge it more than 65 watts without the dedicated charger, and when I tried to charge it with generic USB-PD chargers I couldn’t even get it to charge at that rate. This was a deal breaker for me, since a big part of the point of USB-C chargers is to be able to use most any charger and cable, not just the one that came with the laptop.
The PX13 manual recommends using a 20V/5A (aka 100W) USB-C charger with the PX13, but mine keeps itself charged for productivity work without issue on my monitor's 65W USB-C port. If the 60Hz display isn't a dealbreaker and you don't mind that it's a bit expensive, this is almost the perfect small but powerful 2-in-1.
Sierra is great! I loved the review. Nice to see a new reviewer on screen. For creatore its still worth noting that this pen (using the MS protocol) is not as accurate as a wacom one in drawing stright diagonal line (they turn out wobbly), speaking as a designer. Also the windows palm rejection option is not so good.
It's so mind blowing that even in ecomode, the battery life suffers. It must be that dGPU. It still must be sucking some kind of power even in ecomode. This or a 14" variant would be my next laptop if they can fix that.... If they can't fix this in these types of laptops, I rather skip the dGPU and just use eGPU when i need that kind of power.
This seems to be a trend with Asus laptops. Before getting the vivobook I read that the dgpu will always be drawing high power even on low tasks. It seems asus is terrible at managing power at low loads. I also read that it could be caused partially by what nvidia drivers are installed, so who knows what asus is fucking up
Great video, the question is - why is the battery life so mediocre even after disabling the Nvidia GPU? Your tests including the S16 (similar battery size) confirm my suspicion that maybe the PX13's HX 370 seems to be boosting unnecessarily high for light tasks (or the Nvidia GPU is still draining some power like you said). I've somewhat fixed that with a much lower TDP for the CPU for light tasks, but it should really work that way from stock - hopefully they address it in a driver update. I'd be interesting if you could run the same battery life test but limit both to the same TDP and same boosting profile (Efficiency over performance for example) and see how close they get then. I have one with the 4070 and it's fantastic overall, and the sustained performance really is the highlight for real world use. Using it on a balanced/performance mode rather than max TDP everything and with some more relaxed fan curves - the laptop is much more subtle fan noise wise and temps never get out of hand even when rendering or gaming. They've really struck a nice balance with the laptop being small but thick enough for a considerable cooling system.
hi josh, i just wanted your opinion, i have been through 3 asus pro art px13 laptops within the last month because of some really bad Bluetooth and wifi issues, you mentioned asus is going to fix this issue any idea when? for context: my wireless earbuds just dont seem to connect (the laptop only connects to one earbud and refuses to connect to the other, refuses to disconnect after connected and sometimes doent play any audio, also the wifi stability is really bad) and its really frustrating to have a 2000 GBP laptop that u cant use for entertainment purposes, i am a student studying mechanical engineering and i absolutely fell in love with this laptop for its amazing form factor and incredible performance it really does tick all the boxes but its difficult to over look its shortcomings. i really just wish the bluetooth and wifi would work
I have the 4050 Best Buy model and I tried both Fedora and Ubuntu. They seemed to work well generally, but as far as I could tell the Mediatek Bluetooth hardware is not yet compatible. I found some posts about compiling a custom kernel to get it working, but that is above my paygrade. 😂
hello there great video can you please do a video on music production laptops please? I'm considering the ASUS Zenbook 14 (AMD) you think it can run Ableton live?
I've spent 2 years waiting for the perfect laptop for my use case to come along. Although i'd steer more toward a Snapdragon powered laptop for the longevity (albeit with pretty frustrating software compatibility issues outstanding), & I wasn't happy with ASUS still using glossy displays with no anti reflective coating/glass, I was seriously considering one of these. Then I saw you open it up & the largest SSD size it can accommodate appears to be a 2230, & with that this became a complete no go for me. Sad face.
Personally the zephyrus g14 is a lot more appealing, and is better in many ways but it is slightly bigger. It is currently on sale for 1250 with the 4060 and 120hz oled
@@mo7074 The g14 cooling solution is leaps and bounds better than this asus shown here, there are three fans and so many more heat pipes, not to mention liquid metal from factory
@@JustJoshTech When you review the P16, could you try G-Helper and configure it so the GPU is off and the CPU TDP is limited to 15-28W like the Zenbook S 16? G-Helper is an open source tool that's lighter weight than armoury crate. It can toggle all the same features armoury crate can manage but it's a nicer lower resource program than AC. Both P16 and S 16 have the same processor and I'm curious if changing the TDP on the P16 allows the P16 battery life to reach similar times to the Zenbook S 16 which is limited to that power range. It may still be worse due to the larger screen and no mux on the graphics card but it should be improved by at least a couple hours.
@Namu4Life As someone who has been going over this same question for a while, I can tell you this. The zenbook s16 should cover most use cases with a far better batterylife than the ProArts. This is is due to them not having a discrete graphics card. If all you want to do is development, programming and other coding based related tasks, especially as a student, you will have no need for the graphics card which makes the Zenbook a better choice. Plus, the better battery life as a student will come in handy moving from class to class. However, if you think you want to do graphic designing, video editing then take the ProArt series. The rendering time will significantly drop due to the graphics card. 4050 variant will probably be better because I am not sure that the thermals will allow the full 140 Wattage draw the 4070 can receive. But you should check that out yourself as well. Btw 3d modelling tasks in architecture and mechanical engineering also need a dedicated graphics card. Both are quite premium builds with minimal flexing and nice modern looking finishes. Throttling is quite minimal on these new ryzen 9 AI chips asus laptops but still look at the battery vs powered tests if possible for a better understanding and informed decision. If pricing is a concern, you can also look at the Vivobook S16 with the same ryzen 9 AI CPU. They are less expensive with similar performance but worse build quality(All plastic at times)However, there are hardly any reviews for this cheaper model on the internet as most are reviewing the zenbook or the pro art with these new CPU. Lastly, port selection on the laptops can also tip the scales in favour of one or the other so make sure to give a good look at what you think you might need now or in the future
I would wait for Lunar Lake, if reports are to be believed, it's going to be an efficiency beast with beat performance per watt, but could be a premium offering. Good competition for we customers.
i hope new 2025 model will have minimum 120hz panel and will have option for 4070 or 5070 or maybe 5080 not to mention vapor chamber and 2x m.2 ssd, if it happens i drop my money for it
So I often have micro jerks, but I think the system hangs from time to time and that bothers me as a programmer extremely. I sent the first laptop back and had a new one sent to me but it's the same there, thought it was a hardware fault at first. Is there a solution for this?
It's not just the chip. It's how effective its heat management is in such a small chassis. It brings a lot to the table for a 13 inch laptop. For example, it's a 2 in 1. When you use as many laptops as we do, standouts become very apparent. This one is. It isn't just about spec sheets
@@JustJoshTechDream spec: Zen 5, 16" matt screen touch 16:10 Mini LED. As cool and quiet as a macbook. Max 1.2kg. comfortable keyboard. Very long battery life. Decent graphics. Anything comes close? Hey Sierra! Shall I get this ProArt or the HP Spectre X360 with 32gigs of RAM you guys loved? I need a laptop for PowerBi, watching movies excel, email and other data analytics stuff. Small enough to take to plans and always carry with me. For me also upgradability is important and to have USB A ports.
This laptop is more aimed at graphically intensive work loads, you sacrifice a lot to get a fairly powerful GPU into a small chassis. If you only have CPU based workloads there might be better options.
Is there a version of the 13 with the 4070? I can’t seem to find it. That’s my ideal config. I have some very unique circumstances that make it so that I really need the graphics power, but really don’t care about the screen size
@@andyH_England well that’s too bad, I’m not in the UK. That is quite pricey, but depending on what kind of budget I can get, I might have to ask my friend in the UK to buy it for me. I can’t find anywhere in the U.S. Store. But I don’t see any problem in shipping it over.
Nice review! Been waiting on this video ;) I’m currently looking for a new laptop and I can’t choose between this and the spectre 14. But after this review I am leaning more towards the spectre. I am a software engineering student and the most important things for me are battery life, doesn’t get too loud and hot, has good build quality and is somewhat future proof in terms of performance. Which one would you recommend, the asus proart px13 or the hp spectre x360 14-inch?
Well, matched for specs other than the dedicated Nvidia GPU which isn't an option on the Spectre 14, the Spectre 14 is $250 cheaper than the PX13 and includes the stylus. If you game or do anything else GPU-intensive, the PX13 may be worth it, but for CPU-bound software engineering, the Spectre 14 is plenty fast enough.
I’m gonna save up the money and get this laptop it’s perfect for me I have a hp envyx360 from like 2019 and I love it but it’s starting to show its age when it comes to gaming I need a 2 in 1 laptop because I need to draw and I want it to be thin and light because I need to take it with me everywhere I would get something cheaper but I wanna make sure it last when it comes to games
I'd still consider buying arm, if it offered 120hz 16" screen, hdmi 2.1 #4k@120hz for external display, compatibility or not. I'm after mobility *and* ability to work comfortably at home on a huge display with fluid refresh rate.

Also a really cool laptop but out of my budget
However even if it was within my budget, I just cant get along with 13 inch laptops. 14 at least for me or maybe 14.5 even
This is the laptop review I was waiting for since it was announced. And it's more than I expected.
Got it about a week with 4060.
+++
Performance: Much faster than my 5-month-old Spectre 14" (2024).
Keyboard: Love the typing experience.
- - -
Battery life: Disappointing, only 4-5 hours, even with the dGPU off.
So do you prefer the spectre, I need a laptop for school and this has been a strong pick for me, or do think the px13 or p16 is better
Would you recommend it?
Very suprised to see the thermals. Whenever i see a 13 inch with high powered specs, I just assume its gonna be a furnace
It's an incredible step forward for portable Windows Laptops to be able to compete with Macs in Performance while not having terrible Battery life
60Hz is not that bad bro.
Two things, one what is wrong with ASUS and two that 60 hz panel is probably to save battery life or something else.
Still waiting for linux support on the SDXE laptops
That crappy display *instantly* kicks itself off of the purchase list.
A 380 nit display has absolutely NO BUSINESS being on a $2,000 "creator" machine. Considering that us creators interface with a laptop primarily through our EYES it makes no sense spending our money on a thing with such a poor interface, OLED or not.
How bright do you usually tune your screen when "designing" things? Don't you know creators prefer not-too-bright screens to keep the white-balance?
@vzx13 it's a **mobile laptop** that will be used in various lighting situations ranging from bright to dim.
It's not an accident that MacBook Pros with bright displays are highly preferred by creators.
Bright displays give you options depending on the exterior lighting situation you find yourself in.
Dim displays don't.
With dim displays like this one you either try and find a darker place to move to or you simply can't work effectively.
I very much appreciate the gradual introduction of new speakers as someone who doesn't like change haha
M3pro idles at 0.05-0.2w
This garbage idles at 3-4w.
Get real windows sheep🤡🤡
Also macbook much faster CPU!
Can't do 60hz in 2024 😢
It's a really a shame though, everything else is great
They showed iphone move .
Yea 60hz makes this DOA and shovelware.
You can replace the Wi-Fi card internally.
The only thing keeping me from buying it right now is that it doesn’t offer 120hz 😭
60Hz.. Come on.
60hz suxx big time in 2024!!!
60hz is fine
It is made for creativity If you are looking for a gaming one you should choose otherwise.
But still you can play on this screen or just connect it to a bigger screen with a higher refresh-rates.
@@AdaDenali Moving windows around and scrolling websites on a 60hz screens feels so chunky !!! Especially when you have devices that are 90hz or more!
60Hz is fine for an ultrabook, but for a device for gaming and pro work, at £2500 in the UK...you are right, it is a mistake.
60hz screen at this insane price makes it a no go.
Should I purchase this or surface laptop 7 ?
In Middle East You can get the PX13 with RTX 4070 8gb and 2TB SSD for 2700 USD
The 60Hz screen kills it for me minimum should have 120Hz.
It's the springboard keyboard for me! Should really be haptic and even 90hz at this price.
This is a really good review.
Wow, she flies through the numbers!
I've been consistently impressed with ASUS products, we have several in our house (including ProArt 2K monitors).
I own a ROG Flow X13, and I mainly use it for creative work. This laptop would be a blessing, if it wouldn't cost 2 times as much... No SD card reader, and the 60hz screen is also big ouf for the price. I will stick to my old laptop at this point.
Wow, I absolutely loved this review! It's packed with information, incredibly dynamic, and feels genuinely honest.
Great job Sierra. Would love a video review of Asus ProArt P16.
All good. I'll check on the link. Glad she loved it
Thanks for reviewing this!
@@shaneterrell omg thank you that’s exactly what I wanted to know. I think this might be the one.
@@shaneterrell How is the sleep mode? Does it actually sleep okay and not run through a lot of battery for no reason?
@AdaDenali It has been well- behaved for me. Not the unbelievable standby I see on my Surface Pro 11, but no more than 5% overnight.
"...and it makes your mother-in-law very happy" :) LOL
8:31 what size SSD is that? that looks small, maybe 2230 or 2242?
M.2 2230 PCIe 4.0x4
It's so mind blowing that even in ecomode, the battery life suffers. It must be that dGPU. It still must be sucking some kind of power even in ecomode. This or a 14" variant would be my next laptop if they can fix that.... If they can't fix this in these types of laptops, I rather skip the dGPU and just use eGPU when i need that kind of power.
This seems to be a trend with Asus laptops. Before getting the vivobook I read that the dgpu will always be drawing high power even on low tasks. It seems asus is terrible at managing power at low loads. I also read that it could be caused partially by what nvidia drivers are installed, so who knows what asus is fucking up
Nice review, tech crew!
Nice but so EXPENSIVE, demoed on at best buy today it was my favourite, solid premium feel. Just expensive!
I'm a bit confused, u got g16 with 4070?
@@alexanderruchkov7629 I've got the PX13 with a 4070, I don't think they sell that version in the US but it's available in the UK
Does this have USB-C pass through charging unlike the G14?
Oh yeah great question
hi josh, i just wanted your opinion, i have been through 3 asus pro art px13 laptops within the last month because of some really bad Bluetooth and wifi issues, you mentioned asus is going to fix this issue any idea when?
for context:
my wireless earbuds just dont seem to connect (the laptop only connects to one earbud and refuses to connect to the other, refuses to disconnect after connected and sometimes doent play any audio, also the wifi stability is really bad) and its really frustrating to have a 2000 GBP laptop that u cant use for entertainment purposes, i am a student studying mechanical engineering and i absolutely fell in love with this laptop for its amazing form factor and incredible performance it really does tick all the boxes but its difficult to over look its shortcomings. i really just wish the bluetooth and wifi would work
Swap out the Wi-Fi card, it’s upgradable
Excited to wait for next year’s G14
Where is the linux support section?
I have the 4050 Best Buy model and I tried both Fedora and Ubuntu. They seemed to work well generally, but as far as I could tell the Mediatek Bluetooth hardware is not yet compatible. I found some posts about compiling a custom kernel to get it working, but that is above my paygrade. 😂
hello there great video
can you please do a video on music production laptops please? I'm considering the ASUS Zenbook 14 (AMD) you think it can run Ableton live?
Can you talk about the new ASUS VIVOBOOK S 14 Ryzen AI 9 HX 370.
Yes. We are. I think next weekend
@@JustJoshTech tysm!
Thanks for the review! Does the touchscreen works on Linux???
Wow, that's impressive! Too bad about the screen though.
It is currently on sale for 1250 with the 4060 and 120hz oled
but its steaming hot lmaoo
Can live with 60fps on a 13.3". Can't live with 16GB RAM.
@@danielpv1763 insane take, most tasks feel much faster on a 120hz screen, doesn't matter what the screen size is lmao
@@mo7074 The g14 cooling solution is leaps and bounds better than this asus shown here, there are three fans and so many more heat pipes, not to mention liquid metal from factory
@@fullypowered123 have you even used the g14? It gets steaming hot bro. Have fun with your purchase though.
How is its sleep mode? Does it actually go to low power and not just keep draining the battery like it’s actively running?
I saw a review that suggested 4-6% in 12 hours in sleep mode.
I’ve watched this video at least 7 times now
Wtf josh plays hwei? Ur the goatt
Bummer for the screen resolution else it seems like a solid contender at all aspects minus battery
waiting for a 15/16" version of this unless Lenovo releases an AMD version of their Yoga Pro 9
Can you recommend a touch screen laptop with long battery life ?
I think they need to update the firmware so the RTX GPU can be completely turned off. Ryzen 370 has amazing battery life, almost matching ARM one
Sierra looks amazing in that outfit!
Will you be reviewing the P16? All the reviewerd seem focused on the 13in
Its becasue the P16 was shipped to reviewers after. Yes we are doing it and the G16
Will you be doing a review for the PX16?
Hello sir , I am from India and I am going to start college next month. Can you recommend laptops for programming, coding and some gaming on the side.
Is this good for causal gaming like if i want to play RDR2, microaoft flight sim, fornite, or random stram games? For after school/work
Which model is better to get for college and programming? The ProArt PX13 or the ProArt PX16? As well as the Zenbook S 16
Good competition for we customers.
i doubt it tbh
Can you verify the gpu is only enabled when using the giant proprietary power brick?
if this was in white it'd be an instant buy
I don't think the refresh rate on that little screen matter. Gamers always use an external monitor to play, specially for competitive games.
Px13 4060 works without a hiccup on 65" 4k TV @ 120fps high or ultra settings
You can disable power OFF button
i hope new 2025 model will have minimum 120hz panel and will have option for 4070 or 5070 or maybe 5080 not to mention vapor chamber and 2x m.2 ssd, if it happens i drop my money for it
So I often have micro jerks, but I think the system hangs from time to time and that bothers me as a programmer extremely.
I sent the first laptop back and had a new one sent to me but it's the same there, thought it was a hardware fault at first.
Is there a solution for this?
Is there a 16" version with bigger battery?
The Windows/Microsoft Industrial Complex has ALMOST caught up to Apple Silicon. Good news for all those Windows Beta Testers out there.
M4 I imagine will jump ahead for Apple
The speed of the chip doesnt make up for every other aspect which could be better. Somewhat of a click bait title.
Yes, we only get that option in the UK, but it is >$3000 so a tough buy.
1,700 US American Freedom Eagles for this base model ?.... and people gripe about the cost of MacBook Airs ?? Sheesh !

It looks like the black Zephyrus G14 with the ProArt trackpad and labeling and smaller, right?
ARM for Windows might have blown up on the launch pad thanks to AMD.
I'd still consider buying arm, if it offered 120hz 16" screen, hdmi 2.1 #4k@120hz for external display, compatibility or not.
I'm after mobility *and* ability to work comfortably at home on a huge display with fluid refresh rate.
