All three of us will travel from one side of London to the other, where there is a drifting experience waiting for the winner. The only catch, is that all three of us HAVE to go past Big Ben.

You need to give each of the boys £2,000 to pass their motorbike tests (buying the bike, helmet, gear, test and everything). I'd love to see them what secondhand bike they end up buying and learning to tackle riding on the road, and I think they would genuinely enjoy it and benefit from the experience. Please do it!!!

@@maximusheaton8375 Yeah, straight away I was DLR??? Why??? And what route did he take to get to Stratford Station??? What was that bridge he went over??? It's a 15 min walk through Olympic park from the stadium to the station and you don't go over a bridge like that.
Public transport is the only way to get around London really but doing it right would make the challenges boring.
Yeah, no idea why Scott didn't just take the underground to an overground station or a bus...
@@maximusheaton8375had to go past Big Ben. So add a few minutes to get the bus there and back, although he could just stay on the Jubilee past Westminster then doubled back on the next tube to Waterloo. Passes BB, but underground.

Not sure if Callum already knows this… but there is an Electric skateboard shop about 10 mins walk away from the swimming pool in Stratford. It would blow his mind 😂

I'm in Lagos, Nigeria and never been to London but I loved this so much! I would love that skateboard if it was usable in my city with no respect for lanes and crazy drivers
For those wondering how to actually do this journey by public transport and not faff around to waste time:
Walk to Stratford, get the Jubilee line to Westminster, walk across Westminster bridge, get the train from Waterloo to Weybridge and then walk the rest of the way to Merc World.
This could take ~20mins less time than driving and an hour less than cycling.
Entertaining video though.
I was debating whether byfleet and new haw was quicker as it’s closer slightly but the train takes longer
A high speed mono wheel / EUC might be competitive, if you really knew the route. Would also need rozzer dodging skillz.

Awesome fun! Great video. Next time, throw in an EUC / Electric Unicycle in the mix. Same cost as the e-skate or a an e-bike, but faster, further, more maneuverable - no problems with tree roots, and can be wheeled onto transit and into offices / cafes / shops. Hard to learn, but worth the effort - makes a good camera 'car' for your channel too as you are hands free up to 50 miles per hour! There are a few EUC channels to check out, Chooch is my favourite lunatic on a mono wheel .... Kuji Rolls content is fun too, there are few UK EUC / e-skate crews.
Can't accept Tony Hawk being insulted like that. Especially after his recent 700 coming back from the horrible injury attempting the same trick...

Fun fact about Stratford station. I almost shit myself there once on the way to a job interview. I did get to the toilet in time. There was a man at the urinal, I'd be holding my a big poo for several hours on the train and when it came out, it sounded very loud, so loud in fact that the man at the urinal actually said "fucking hell mate". True story.

Cost and speed, public transportation is the clear winner, but Scott and the crew purposely chose slower methods to make the race more even, for fun.
I love chalenges like this but hate it when they purposly make the better option worse. It would be like giving the E-Scateboard only half charge or the car not enough fuel and being surprised when they don't win

Ive never cycled in london but i love mountain biking in my local area you can do a lot of creative shortcuts riding up and down stairs you cant really do on other things.
As an American, London seems to have (as someone whos never been obv) such a particular aura similar to Chicago, tho less so i suppose, with beautiful riverside skycrapers and modern architecture across from classic architecture, then slummy grafitti covered sky bridges and back alleys lol.
The iffy finish of the leather on the rear seats of the M4 is triggering me severely 😂 Top vid lads!
Brooklands is awesome. I remember the first time I stopped there for the Tesco's. I instantly knew the banked concrete round the outside of estate was an old track. Then I read up the history of it. Quite sad it isn't still a full track!

I do agree with Callum about all the facts about the El-Skateboard. Owning your own car is too expensive in 2023 at least in Sweden.
So why not own an Electic Skateboard to commute from suburb to suburb, including a big battery for short and long distances?
I have owned a penny board-like electric skateboard, for commuting during the summer for the past 7-8 years, and with the combo with both size and public commute, it's a killer to get you from A-B.
1. Callum even if he lost.
2. Will, only because it's a "luxurious" trip and a nice car. (still, people complain about traffic).
3. Scott didn't even try. (this is a car-focused channel so ofc).

In Germany, you pay €50 a month for public transport throughout the country, except for fast trains, so there's no question of what you'll use for transport in that case! And I always prefer means of transport with a chauffeur 🤩 in a city

Maybe do this challenge again but with an electric unicycle. They can be a bit expensive like with the InMotion V13 Challenger at about $4,300+ USD/ €3,000 - €5,000 but can go 50+ mph/ 90+ km/h.

A £5000 motorcycle or the combo of any car + a ~£700 e-scooter will be the fastest overall transportation method. Or for much longer trips it's a general aviation aircraft plus an e-scooter.

Problem with electric skateboards and ebikes is always going to be voltage sag, whereby as your voltage decreases so does the output wattage. for a skateboard i wonder if you could get a backpack which would be suitable to run a cable down your trouser leg to the board connecting a second battery and acting as a leash like you get on Stand-Up Paddleboards

4 miles for 17% sounds more like 23.5 miles range.
Hardly 40 and thats just going along - no hills, cold or anything.
On the good side if its not illegal then no charges can be held.
On the bad side there is almost always some catch all law that will cover it.
Yeah he’s got his figures wrong he basing it off the board in “street mode” it’s also not £1000 it’s £2100 even with Evolves summer sale at the moment it’s £1550 for a “Hadean carbon AT”.. on its setup he was running AT mode (All terrain pneumatic 7 inch Tires) it’s range isn’t 40 miles it’s half that 16-20 at most and it’s top speed isn’t 30mph it’s 27 mph .. if it had street wheels yes those figures are correct but you he was not running that setup .

as a skater of almost 17 years of expierence i gotta say a) will isnt right and skateboarding has just gained in relevancy and popularity since 2002 b) id be reluctant to get on a skateboard capable of going 35 mph because it sounds reeeaaally painful to fall off a skateboard at that speed (i went down hillbombing once when i was 16 and my whole side was shredded to bits for weeks, and i was no where that fast) and c) callum is absolutely right dogs freaking hate skateboards :D great content though. just wished you guys would have shown a little more of wills drifting session seems like it was great fun!

Both Electric scooters and skateboards are illegal in UK, you can get points on your driving license, as they require mot, road tax and insurance, no insurance they can crash it.

A 125cc bike only needs a CBT, it can be done on a provisional license and is more then fast enough for London roads they can easily do 60mph

You should not be allowed to cross red lights on the skateboard in this challenge. It is not just illegal, but also risky and kinda goes against the point of this challenge.
