- My East Coast lungs are not used to elevations over 6,000 feet. This was quite the experience for us, and you'll see why. The Mount Timpanogos hike was amazing and was also one of the most beautiful experiences we've ever had. We highly recommend if you're not afraid of heights and you're physically able. We are eager to go back!

I'm just a 10 minute drive from Mt. Timp and I've never hiked to the shack. Maybe Ill have to try it sometime.

That's awesome! It's so beautfiul there! What point would you normally get to on the hike? I kinda feel alone in how terrified I was haha.
@@WHOAyouguys I've only ever hiked to Timp. cave actually 😅 hiking all the way to the top in the middle of the night was a little too freaky for me. I'm a whimp haha (but also, just down the road from Timp cave was a dumping ground for a victim of Ted Bundy 👀👀) those mountains freak me out, honestly.

Don't trust alltrails! I died on a hike up a stupid hill on bamboo stairs and stones. Meanwhile the old people are fine. You'd do great here! I in the other hand will never go on another"walk" with a friend again.
😅😅 thank you, I feel much better with you telling me not to trust it haha. I think maybe it's because mostly locals hike that (and they do those types of hikes often). I love the downplaying from everyone haha. 😆
