Right on point! Tableau prep is arguably the best product from Tableau. It kind of make up for the data modeling feature missing in Tableau desktop

What is the difference between Tableau Desktop and Tableau Pulse? Is Tableau Pulse free??

Tableau desktop is geared towards the analyst doing data exploration, building dashboards and sharing them on Tableau cloud or Tableaus server. Tableau pulse is geared towards the dashbaord consumers or report consumers so they can build and track their own metrics. Same activity broader user base.
