For me literally its the best project since i played Jedi Academy and all shooters included - It's like a hybrid with Battlefront! Also there is nothing to worry about project shutdown. As long it uses Jedi Academy Engine and overall base under GPL license, Mickey Mouse can kiss the nose...so hold your pants folks, the bigger risk is Unreal Engine and money gaining from it. Also try new 0.3 patch that fixes all lightsaber problems, i just can't wait for full release, but we must also be patient because its one man army job!

If they keep it free and drop the Star Wars name, they could alter the assets to look inspired by star wars but unique enough to not get into trouble if at any point concerns arise over a C&D. Learn from Galaxy in Turmoil team's mistakes because this looks too good.

Lucasfilm has never gone after mods, and the only fan games they take down are ones that are remakes of previous games (KOTOR was likely because they had plans to do their own remake).

Reminds me of my old Clone Wars RP days on Garry's Mod. That was the closest I got to feeling immersed in the clone wars universe, but even that game mode had a vast amount of limitations and quirks with community interaction/development.

Given how hard the classic collection flopped I honestly anticipate that this person will save the community. I CANT wait to see the product when it is finished 😊

We need a clone wars game w full armor and character customization (hair, tattoos, voices), and the option to join different battalions, and train for different things like special forces, arc trooper or commandos and the cherry on top having a mission where you choose to follow or resist order 66 and the game ends at the decommissioning of the clones or the war that happened right after the clone wars
You should look into the Galactic Contention Mod for Squad. It a full conversion mod for the game that has faction like droids, clones, tuskens, clone rebels, empire, and even geonosians. If you want to see some short clips, I have some posted on my channel if you want to look at it. Its one of the best clone wars videogame experience I have ever had.
Nobody wants copy and paste engine features that is a complete nonsense..and it will not fit to the style this mod has, if you prefer md go play md and dont copare different mechanics and projects philosophy.
Mod this ambitious there's much more probability of it being dropped or unfinished than it ever seeing the light of day But oh well, let's just keep hoping

Dont merge it with original game, just unpack it anywhere, even on desktop it works, apply patches to Build Folder and launch it from bat executable. Hope it helps

No they are literally using Star Wars assets and voices from the show. Disney can shut this down if they want to. They have done this before.
