    Awwww man I was so hoping to see you take Godzilla out for some snow drifting like @ the end of Part 1.
    Great hi-tech mods very well thought out. But come on give us a little treat will ya? Your FJ looks so awesome drifting in the snow. Thanks for putting this up!

      Well, the snow is long gone up here fortunately. You'll have to wait for next winter.

    The antena for signal also boosts your tinnitus and a few years later you cant find peace and quiet anymore...good luck trying to sleep in the future...this goes for all antenas and tech in general that uses some sort of electrical waves

    Great set up brother, slowly but surely getting there myself. Watched your video early on about the orange box saddle mount for the comms, gotta say without a doubt one of the best things in the ingenuity dept. All i need now is to find the moneytree to complete my mods!...

    You have an wxcellent set up.
    I’m almost there, about 18% behind you.
    My roofnest takes up my entire frontline roof rack though, so I’m not sure if I can fit the lights and awnings like you.
    Love watching your videos!

      My RoofNest is on the way finally. It's the same dimensions as my BajaRack so I may have to get creative. But I will upload a video review of the process.

    Just a suggestion, don't put drinking water cans outside, it's going to make the water taste bad if it's got sun exposure.

    • @thegearbunker9842
      @thegearbunker9842  3 года назад

      The exterior mounted water is for cleaning and rinsing dishes, washing hands, etc. Not drinking.

    Buy a warn winch remote control plug and play no need open hood I have one but I have Arab front bumper

    • @thegearbunker9842
      @thegearbunker9842  3 года назад

      I didn't realize this at first but the Warn VR EVO is wireless. I just needed to remove the cord from the controller and pair with the winch. So more more popping the hood for me.

    Great build with attention to detail. I'm in the midst of building mine up. Looking forward to seeing your sleeping platform build - I already have a drawer system, but I do have a question: what is the mount you're using for the Rotopax? Cheers.

    I want to put scene lights as well but I'm not sure how to wire them. Did you go through the cab through the rear door? Or back through the windhsield up front?

    • @thegearbunker9842
      @thegearbunker9842  3 года назад

      My FJ originally had roof lights that were removed with the OEM rack. So I re-used the original wire already passing through the roof. Then made a custom wiring harness for the lights.

    I'm on the fence about front lockers for my FJ. Do you find yourself using your front lockers often? I've always been able to use A-TRAC to get myself out. So, I'm not sure it's worth the cost. What's your opinion?

    • @thegearbunker9842
      @thegearbunker9842  3 года назад +1

      Probably don't need the front locker. I had to re-gear for the 35" tires so it would have been stupid for me not to add the front air locker while the differential was open. I've used it once so far.

    Does this set up work for overland touring? I don’t intend on going on any “missions” but would need to build something for my FJ to allow me to go 4x4 and camping ?

    • @thegearbunker9842
