I always felt that Laurel was still in love with Frank throughout the show,I clearly think she didn't want to come back to him anymore because she had learned that he had killed innocent people and that he was continuing doing so, we saw how devastated she was when he left, and there is a reason why she cheated on Wes with him... in my opinion all her actions show that she was more in love with Frank than with Wes, and in their last scene she confessed to Frank that she had missed him and she had some regrets to not accept to marry him. In my opinion she loved Wes more because he was a kind and great person and felt some guilt for his death and cheating on him but she was clearly more in love with Frank, loving someone and being in love are two completely different things to me because the writers will never convince me that she was in love with Wes cause when exactly she was when she cheated on him with Frank or when leaving a hundred of messages to Frank when he left ... hate how they ruined their story with this inconsistent writing just to force with others ships
Yes even if the writers forced so much with this story with Wes, Laurel always get back to Frank even when she was involved in other relationships, she cheated on all her guys with Frank every time that says a lot,she was like obsessed with him when he left the only reason why she didn’t get back to him at this time it’s because he ignored her for months and despite the fact that she knew all the bad things he did she still protected him from Annalise it was hilarious to see her tell that she was with wes and protected him not Frank (even if she also protected Wes) while she signed a deal with her father to protect him she didn’t tell anyone that her father finds him or she talked to Frank or even that she called him for months like every day, I always felt that one of the reasons she was with wes it’s because Frank hurt her and then ignored her and the fact that Bonnie told her that he was a monster, I don’t understand why they pretend that she had a big love story with Wes while she dated him one or 2 weeks and cheated on him,I mean when you are really in love you don’t cheat and like one day before dating wes that she was clearly obsessed with Frank and told Bonnie that she still loved him a few days before
Their chemistry was everything,they were clearly so in love,I love these type of relationships when it started by lust and turned into something passionate love even if it was so complicated,hated how the writers just tried so much to discredit them just to force others pairings while these two always get back to each other’s even when they were with others persons
