- NASA is developing a bunch of robots it wants to send to space. Some are humanoid like the RoboSimian and Robonaut 2. But other bots like the Ice Worm, Astrobee, and LEMUR are more abstract. Of course, there's also the Mars 2020 Rover, which will be bringing along several smaller robots. NASA tests these robots in extreme conditions on Earth in order to prepare them for other planets and moons.

Tech Insider: "There's one more robot already up in space that needs to "bee" included"
Me: GET OUT
Hey, it's a bee, bees are ok, hornet's/wasps are ***holes so if you see a bee, just walk by it. If you see a HORNET RUN THE OTHER WAY
Bees: fluffy/fat
Hornets/wasps: armor and very skinny
@@lonespartanz3222 true but this bee never sting. Unless you touch something sharp
True
Get ouuuuuuut!
"Rivers of Methane and Ethane" Oh god, imagine the Aroma!
nonexistent - both are tasteless and have no smell by themselves
Uh neither have any smell

*Mission impossible*
The dragonfly going to Titan to find Thanos
Then he will snapped his fingers to make a dragonfly too dust
Dragonfly isn’t weird
The floating cube robot has been there since megaman2

Where’s WALL-E or Johnny 5? 🤖
... or the T-800, oops! 😮😂
Terry Turner Nooooooo..... 😱😂

7:46 i don't know why i giggled when she said the types of Astrobees...😂😂
Scary problems that can happen to Dragonfly: the rotors can malfunction before take off or if in mid-air, falls down an get destroyed on the ground or get a splashy fall into the ocean
Just tell Boston dynamics to handle this
Kind of but the robots arent set on dynamic movement but for easy automation and task management. Also please don't r/whoosh me :P
I wonder if NASA ever sent a machine into space on a multi decade mission and completely forgot about that thing it sent to space years ago.
1:19 “759,000 mile journey”
So Titan only twice as far away as the moon is? Damn, I thought it was like hundreds of millions of miles away orbiting Saturn but I guess it’s not.
Quality fact checks in this video
0:36 _Well that's cursed._
“759,000 mile, 8 year journey to titan” good writing in this one
That's just 3x the distance to the moon! If my calculations are correct, taking 8 years to go 759,000 miles means the spacecraft would be traveling at a blistering 10.8 miles per hour.
She also called titan a planet
@@dtm934 I missed that. I wonder who wrote that script?
Time Is An Illusion
can u please do echo buds vs galaxy buds I want to know which is better
"The first multi blade rover" is false the mars 2020 rover has a 2 blade drone on it .
well they said from nasa, not first multi blade rover *ever*
@@zackstines but they did say in space

That’s my drone I sent to space navigation stoped at 12,000 feet

0:38 I am getting horror stuck on a space station being attached by a rogue robot kinda vibe
Fun video. Thanks.
Hey I'm an electrical engineering student. How can I get involved in any of these projects?
R2d2: hold my beer...
those cube bots look cute
What software do they run, for inputs-process-output functions. Absolutely fascinating 👍
Java
Good information. My future plan is create good space robots
Im creating bad space robots...eat your guys alive. Bring on the space drone wars

🤣😂 Let fight guy
Earth has water: .......
Mars looks like it could have some water: nani👀👀👀👀👀👀
No
Rlly
That freaking thumbnail had me laughing.........although it's look very creepy.........
How is it creepy?
Whoa. Weird that the currently functioning robots don't even make news.
It has begun
The only weird one is that thing named Robonaut, the first one shown, the other ones dont give uncanny valley feels and looks practical enough.
Nobody mentioned Huey, Dewey, and Louie from Silent Running!
Astrobeeeeee!!!
They are like monsters
No they are adorable they must be cherished
[No one liked that.]
This video reminds me of "Star Wars" and "Battlestar Galactica" . Anyone remembers Battlestar Galactica ?
Nice bots 👍
Imagine these little robots crawling and wandering around in your house one day, lol
Imagine the pain of one falling down the stairs and ripping a hole in your wall just by climbing up it. Both Perseverance (2021) and Lemur do this perfectly fine
Are the ones at the end powered by fans.
Robot might be cheaper in the long run but having humans on the spot with the bot is the best
They aren’t sending people to titan.
Omg its the cube from "people of earth"
made kind of roll-cage around the station and put the robot on it
NASA PR spacex should send a self deploying blimp, but with a gas that exploits the heavy co2 atmosphere.
Is no one gonna mention Portal companion cubes?? 😭
Give the robots eyelids
Somebody at NASA is tripping balls
I think icy moons/planets are more habitable, like elon musk said you just warm up the both poles.
It’s that easy!
Are you sure this guy isn’t related to Hal?
😂 😂
What in the world 😂
I think it's the best video for creativity and innovation....what do you guys think?
Death cube prime is that you?
is it just me or is the robot in the thumbnail flipping the bird
Can't wait to see what the robot NASA sends to probe Uranus looks like...
Aliens hacked space robots and took over space station
Yes ghost!
Astrobees are Haro's from gundam
Why everything is about Bee now.
Minecraft Bee update. Now Bee in space
This shit looks like Call Of duty Gun skin
Screw these robots, give me TARS and CASE from 'Interstellar'
Dragonfly isn’t the first multi rotor from NASA to go to another planet, the helicopter thing on Mars 2020 will be, it has two rotors. And Titan is not a planet.
The Mad Titan might live in Titan
Gay
I wonder what would happen if a rover stumbles across a human... I know its not possible but what if???
well... as of curiosity. if Titan has methane. and its inflamable. so it'll need a single match to burn up a whole planet? lolz
08:20 Million miles not thousand.
Titan isnt 759,000 mi. from Earth. All you would have to do is drive 260 mi./day for eight years...hopefully they got something faster!
I bet I could drive that ammount in less than 8 years
Not need to make humanbot, its creepy. Just make spider robots, 4 legs for ground and 4 for arms operation.
There not weird, there unique.
If she does her own research I'd subscribe.
Legit nobody:
Still nobody:
Aliens: we found first contact with humans.......their so flexible 8:12
Hi
Hello
*Liquid Water*
NASA should have learn from Boston Dynamics
How does the drone #1 fly if there is no air? Or am i just stupid

Titan _does_ have an atmosphere.
Future space junk bosses for future gaming.

please don't use that robot

Yea dragonfly is cool. But my gaming computer fan helicopter is cooler
Haro cubes
Mendican bias??? The halo rings must be real..
Ill be 25 in 2036
Why doesn't NASA give up and close.
Watdafak so we can go outside the earth and see amazing planets

HAL
A floating useless square
Ugh ski..
We created all this but we still havent created something that can accurately measure upcoming earth quakes
Comparatively, it's easier to build one or several small robots to walk on an already pretty known surface and do some science, than predict accurately (place, time, intensity, depth) a phenomenon whose origins are well below the planet's crust, specially when you simply can't dig that down. Meteorology has satellites to see everything and still makes mistakes. Also remember, earthquakes aren't just the ones that make headlines; there are plenty of small quakes all over the world due to tectonic plates, faults, volcanoes, fracking and even storms. The simple fact that now we know what causes the movement is something our ancestors couldn't imagine, and many people still blames it to conspiracies or supernatural causes. Stay tuned. Geologists, volcanologists, seismologists (not the people involved in space exploration) are keen in satisfy your query.
Dude space is fakery. The earth is flat. Go prove me wrong. Or rather prove yourself right?
That’s how you know Black people are not from this planet, there Hair stands straight up even living on a planet with a gravitational pull
