I loved Maurice Nicoll’s 4 volumes of the 4th Way. I was involved in a Gurdjieff Group during the early 1970’s. His books helped me better understand Gurdjieff’s teachings. Currently, as a teacher, I work with both Gurdjieff and Spinoza ideas with my students.
Greetings from South Africa. I am a retired mathematics high school teacher. Always been very interested in the fourth way. Started collecting material whilst teaching and doing some reading. Now it is time to intensify my efforts. I just completed building country home on the West coast. Thanks very much for this wonderful contribution. Let me knoe if anyone visiting the country would like to meet up. Thanks thanks.
@@bookclub5291 yes, Wim van Dullemen's book is about the different versions of the Movements and their history, and Joseph Azize's book is a collection of all the exercises Gurdjieff gave to his students :)
List 3 books in the order you yourself would want someone else to suggest them to you..?? Not necessarily as a newcomer to the work.. Or better yet..if you were stranded on a deserted island which 3 gurdjieff, ouspensky, maurice books would you personally like to have with you?

Excellent. Maurice Nicoll was a fascinating individual.
Looking forward to your upcoming Fourth Way content!
That's great! I am really looking forward to working through In Search of the Miraculous and all of the content that comes from that!
My country home not meant for pleasure seekers but for those who are committed to radically transform. Thank you
Left my question on the wrong thread lol

have you read Wim van Dullemen's or Joseph Azize's books?
I have not. What are they about? The Fourth Way?
