The Original Egg Run . Leigh Miners . 9th March 2024 .

We’re back … , after a long winter hibernation it’s time to get the scooters out and start the season and also start filming . The Egg Run is one of the longest running charity rides and for years has been held at Leigh Miners in Leigh Lancashire .
The ride traditionally starts in Leigh and travels the route all the way down into Manchester to deliver Easter eggs donated by the scooter community to all the kids in hospital in the Manchester children’s hospital.
This year was slightly different, the eggs were still donated but this time the ride was a new route , instead of riding into the centre of Manchester we did a ride around the surrounding areas .
I’m in the process of editing the actual ride video and that will be up in the next day or so . Huge thanks and respect to the organisers of this very worthy event you did a superb job and I’d also like to thank and acknowledge the bike marshals that got us all safely around the route .
No eas task when you have a couple of hundred scooters 👏🏻👌🛵🐣🏍️🥶 .
