Anyone who doesn't want to sew the heel, if you flip it to the insode you can slip stitch it closed. Just easier for the lazy people like me 😂 lovely pattern! ❤
I really enjoyed this stocking. I am making them for my kids . I loved the finished work and how easy it was to the heel. I did mine a little bigger because I only had a 3.5 mm hook.
Thank you for that...I had an awful written pattern from a kit that I just couldn't understand despite having made more complicated things than this 😂 watching you do it cleared up my queried.
please explain what she means closer to the beginning when she says to put two half double crochets in each stick. does it mean to literally make two of them in in the same stick before moving on to the next?
@@alexx2229 Im assuming it's when increasing that you're asking about. Yes, it would be two half doubles in each stitch. (It's how it'll form the toe area.) I hope this helped!
I have spent way too much time trying to make a stocking that looked nice, but ultimately didn't. This is cute and so easy. I also learned a new stitch. Thank you so, so much!
So cute! I did really well until after i had sewn the heel, had a hard time getting count back to 20...but I finagled it! 😊 Also the yarn inwas using kept splitting...i dint think it liked thr hook i was using lol 😂
Hi After making the heel I made 1 row with the main color to make sure I still had 20 half double crochets, then I made 7 more rows with the main color, so 8 rows in total. I hope this helps 😊
I've watched this video a few times and nowhere does she say 18, you need to make 10 hdc in the first round and increase each stitch in the next round to increase to 20. If you don't like her free patterns then by all means follow Bella Coco instead, she has some great videos.

Thank you ❤️
making one of these for my cockatiels christmas stocking !! very clear instructions tysm!
Thank you 😊
I find by doubling or tripling the pattern, depending on the yarn and hook, makes a great homemade stocking. Also, makes a great warm sock for winter.
Going to try this pattern. Think I can follow it 🤔👍🏼

Thank You!
May I ask how many rows of the main color until you do the 2 rows of white?
Was it 7 rows of hdc before doing the 2 rows of hdc in white?
Hi
After making the heel I made 1 row with the main color to make sure I still had 20 half double crochets,
then I made 7 more rows with the main color, so 8 rows in total.
I hope this helps 😊
What kind of yarn are you using? What’s the weight? I used 4 and it’s not as small as yours
Can this be started with a magic circle 10 instead of a chain 3?
Yes of course! All my patterns can be started with a magic circle instead of a chain 2 or chain 3 😊
@@MummaJCrochet brilliant thankyou! I find magic circle easier than chain joining lol its too fiddly for me lol
I never learnt the magic circle and the chain 2 method was the first way that worked for me 😊
I still have a lot to learn about crochet
Do you have the written pattern somewhere else? The link in your description doesn't work anymore.
😍😍😍😍🌻
My circle didn't close 🤷♀️
Yh*6g?
Not the best tutorial👎. In the start u said 18 then u said 10-20. I’d rather follow Bella Coco.
Sorry but not the best experience.
