All the black folks I know LOVE BRUNO since Grenade It's been a while since I heard an album that I didn't WANT to fast forward. Years!! Great reaction guys. I love how you both pay respect to the older viewers and the music. I'm not old enough to have experienced the 70s. Still was a great time for music. Instruments were so important. I appreciate what Bruno and Anderson brought back to the music world
@@Alisha1686 what you mean talk about it lmao, he went from catching grenades for girls to tellin that bitch to catch it herself, listen to Smokin out the window or Fly as me, both showcase how Bruno has really changed from a nice guy to a cool guy, and his look now a days is just a crazy transformation, he got an Afro, a lil thin mustache, he got the aviators, he’s a changed man
I loved the whole album we got the 1970's in 2021 yall too funny 😂 great reaction thank You for saying that the black community don't appreciate his music enough I felt like that for yrs cause he represent blacks like crazy
In the early 2000s. music took a nosedive and never came up for air until Silk Sonic. This project shakes the very core of me. From slow to fast, each song tells a story that we all can relate to.
W/ "After Last Night" thought cute little baby was going to pop in the room again! 👶😂💕 You're thinking of "Grenade" pushing the piano. Yes, his 24K was legit 24K! They didn't expect this either. By chance they met during tour then pandemic hit they said wth lets make music...and voila! "Smok'n out the Window" was their first song but released as 3rd single. Awesome reaction! 🙌💕 Check out Andersons albums/songs...a lot don't know he's a legend himself.
The 70's were amazing. Even though I was super young I have quite a few memories. The music of this time was amazing. The days of Soul Train and the styles of clothing and dancing was really awesome. Every era has drug use and it's share of crime of course, but it wasn't as heavy as it is now. Most people did a fist fight and it was over lol. We live in such different times but Im glad I was able to grow up in that time were tv shows, dancing, music and just all around culture was so different. Really makes you appreciate things

Hello from the 70s! I LOVE Bruno and this album. I recorded back in the day, and the some of the instruments were in the same room as I. And tambourines were a regular thing.. I notice young people seem to like them! We used to scream when Eddie and the Temptations would dance and sing. Otis Redding had a band that used to move with him, like Bruno is doing now. But it was the FUNK man. Wow what a time to be young! And the songs were about love and loss, with sex implied. OJays, Spinners, Intruders, Temps, Four Tops, Al Green, James Brown and earlier: Jackie Wilson, Sam Cooke, Little Willie John. I could go on for days. But After Last Night, Leave the Door Open and Put On a Smile?? AMAZING!
You right about ‘70’s havin best music, as far as the combination of music styles, between dance crazes, the progression of funk & rock, even fusion bands like combining jazz & rock or funk & jazz, we’re starting to play huge venues & stadiums. Then here come disco, with the hustle dance, disco queen Donna Summer, Travolta & Bee Gees Saturday Night Fever, skating jams, Chic, Mike Jack comin into his grown man style & voice wit Off the Wall, on & on. Then came video craze in ‘80’s. Crack epidemic in the hoods across the country, Prince, Thriller, We Are the World, jus too crazy to try & shout out everything. Thing about Silk Sonic, they combining several genres, even though ‘70’s is like a foundation, but they also bringin crazy game as far as production & musicianship, & I’m saying this as a professional musician who been at it a long time. Hats (& wigs) off to these cats. Ain’t nobody in the game hittin it like this. REAL MUSIC by brilliant talent who loves music. 👍🏾
Don't sleep on Anderson. He is a great entertainer as well. His shows are 🔥. He goes nonstop, singing, rapping, drumming, singing while drumming. The man does not take time to breath. Check out more of Anderson to get an appreciation of his talents.
This was the album I never knew I needed 😭🔥

And look how much awards they swept up. Anything else and we would’ve had to riot 😂
After Last Night 🔥🔥🔥Great reaction!!
It depends on the radio station or the city you are in. They play Bruno songs quite a bit here on black radio in Chicago.
More so meant. Like barbershop talk. If that makes sense?
Bootsy said a band that I named, those guys met on tour when Andy was opening for Bruno. The rest is history.
After last night.
*when Bruno comes in* Afta Last NIIIIIGHT
The best.
In-sane, too on time, too perfect really
I'm so grateful I grew up in the late 60s and 70s. It was literally magical. This one takes me back to that time.
FIRST CD I BOUGHT IN 20 YEARS
Vinyl for me. Got it off of their website after they added Loves Train to the vinyl release. It’s awesome.
After Last Night is forever my favorite track on the silk sonic album.
That’s valid this is a no skip album
