Nice to see him finally showing some resolve which has been noticeably AWOL for over a decade until 2023 - it's finally looking like he's becoming the finished article. Kicking off that last (ultimately winning) leg with a maximum (just like at Ally Pally) was exhibit 'A' that the gonads have finally dropped into place. He has NEVER been able to do that before, so all credit to him in being able to mentally fight off his numerous disappointments.

In Lexington, Kentucky at a small Irish beer joint my dart journey began in 1981...many beers later it's 2023 and a dart board still adorns my wall at home in SOFLO! Unlike my other hobbies, darts are still competitive and very, very entertaining. These masters on modern media enhance the game. TY and HAPPY DARTING! How many "81" did Gerrr throw??? Wasting his first dart in the 1 cost him dearly. He needs to start barking / screaming / growling and carrying-on again so he can lift his game.
@Abraham21 I just don't see the point of having a event in Bahrain when there is about 50 arena,s in uk to choose from and its a guarantee every seat will be taken. Obviously prize money will be higher for less travelling.

Silly question, but the guy "commentating" the totals when they throw darts, is he just a genius mathematician or does he read the total off a monitor?
The referees calculate the scoring themselves and so do the players. Though you also have to keep in mind, that they play and call so many darts matches that they just know the scores by heart at this point. After a while you don't really count but just know without counting.
