- This is a very different kind of 'Russian meddling'!
Mr. Khodorkovsky heads the Open Russia foundation - which, every Russian election cycle is aggregated toward spreading anti-government sentiment. President Putin is, of course, a long-time nemesis of Mr. Khodorkovsky; having jailed him for embezzlement and fraud at Yukos. It is not known exactly why Khodorkovsky was pardoned in 2013 - but he has since resided in London, from where he continues his 'political activity'. Today - he is buying up US real estate. What I found interesting in this expose, is the freedom with which known crooks are free to do business - so long as they remain figures 'against the regime' in Russia.
I feel so dumb when I used to think they were innocents who were wrongfully imprisonned.
Most of what we are told by our governments and their mass media propaganda channels is pure fiction, created for the specific purpose of deception. It is very difficult to fully accept this but it is nevertheless true. Many of those who purvey the propaganda are themselves unaware that they are doing so. The lie is so big they are in fact an integral part of it and it is part of them. They believe it to be reality.

Excellent investigative work by Russian journalists who really are that - journalists. Thanks for bringing it Inessa - you keep us so well informed. Incidentally, dont know if you've taken a look, but that new site at the Kremlin which is posting pictures and some video of the past 20 yrs of Putin's work, is worth taking a look at. Each picture has a comment, but sadly only in Russian. If you thought it worth while, you might like to pick out a few good ones and translate.

По-моему, тут ошибка в переводе: в английском языке коттедж - это лёгкий дешёвый временный домик, типа нашего летнего дачного дома или ещё хуже. Традиция называть любой крутой дом коттеджами к нам пришла из 90ых когда нам внушалось, что всё западное = хорошее. По вашему переводу получилось, что они такие скромные ребята, жили в дешёвых коттеджах для бедняков. Ну а в целом большое спасибо за перевод. Вы делаете за наше ленивое государство его работу. ну ладно, ладно, гнать на наше Государство. Ну и не забывайте что Ютуб это западная платформа и если какой-то федеральный канал начнёт освещать своё видение на весь мир у него сразу начнутся проблемы, вспомните про ту же Russia Today или Sputnik. Они были очень популярны на западе, т.к. очень подробно освещали реальность как она есть, но всё пришло к тому, что на них начались гонения и их практически изжили с западных эфиров.
В общем, запад играет в свои гнусные игры, но мы всё равно должны их победить, потому что Добро всегда побеждает зло !
