This was the very best tent review I've ever seen...for any tent, and not just for the Marmot Tungsten UL 1P. You don't spew marketing lingo, you're not a consumer reading off of a spec sheet nor an amateur loaded with "um, like, you know," and you provide so much valuable information and insight on so many questions I had for this specific tent. And if the tent review wasn't enough...you are so beautiful and adorable (said the single guy in Chicago)! I will buy this tent because of your review. THANK YOU!

So sorry I didn't reply sooner, I have to wait for a data signal or WiFi, it's rather patchy here, then forgot! Thanks for the compliments single guy in Chicago! I hope you're surviving these covid times well😷😜

Thank you so much for these detailed assembly instructions and advice. I'd borrowed this tent from an equipment rental place, and the loan came with no assembly instructions, and it was my first time putting up a tent by myself. A rain storm was moving in, and I wanted to figure out how to assemble it properly/securely and fast! Your step-by-step video guide was an absolute Godsend. Thank you for your clear, detailed instructions and advice. Not even Marmot's website could compare!

@@NoSecondSeason Thank you, I did! Two nights of rain, and I felt snug the whole time. When I packed up, I noticed a bit of damp inside the tent (at the foot end, on the ground and on my sleeping bag), but it may have been due to my being new to this whole thing. Thank you again for being my guide!

@@margarette032 That's good to hear. It's so very flimsy, I'm amazed it's waterproof at all. I wonder where the water entered, or could it be condensation dripping off the fly sheet I wonder🤔

Great video! I just bought it myself, put it up in the living room. Good to hear that it seems durable, it feels so flimsy I was worrying. Good luck for your next trip ❤

It is flimsy! I guess that comes with being lightweight. But, the Marmot tents are quality kit, so enjoy your little sealed cell of happiness🙏🥰

Pretty thorough review. Always liked Marmot tents. They have a real cache about them. Cool channel name too.

Thanks! You must be psychic, that's the exact replacement bag I bought, it compresses around, not along it. Perfect!

No Second Season hahah yes they are great and this really was a great review thank you wish I had have watched this before I bought mine I was recently in NZ and my Tungsten poles snapped in the wind and even busted through the fly but was gale force but I think it’s the shape more than anything like a kite captures the wind but still a great tent and most tents are this shape anyway..

@@IvanStewartHunting oh thanks🤭 you've helped me too, I'm in Australia at the moment and was contemplating NZ when I have to take my visa break, for a bit of bikepacking. I better checkout the wind😬.

When you break down the poles, how long is the pole bundle? 17-18"? Needs to be able to fit in my bag. Thanks!

When you have a beautiful day, no rain, that's fine. But my biggest concern is when you have to set it up in pouring rain... won't be easy ...
So far so good for me, never had rain while set it up.

It may be possible to put up the poles and flysheet first but I don't actually know as I haven't tried🤔

Hey lovely lady 🙂 This tent is far too small for a man. With this tent, you also need a tarp... Otherwise a great video 😊BTW, terrible music that i had to mute... 🤣

🤣that's hilarious, you can't speak for all men. This is a mid budget lightweight tent, it's supposed to be small, so it's easy to carry. Why would you want to carry a tarp backpacking or bikepacking 🤷
