Sorry a bit off topic, after banana has fruited and the mother plant is cut, can we do multiplication on the mother plant stalk... I. E. Cut it at just above the root.... Do the division of 8....transplant any suckers already growing and then wait a few more weeks for the new 8 suckers from the mother plant and divide and grow those again?

The old banana plant's apical meristem is not active for multiplication , hence not recommendable for multiplication
Oo I see that was what I wanted to do... So I new a fresh sucker which has not given any fruit yet??

When i transfer it to the main field won't it die
